I was not leaving this comment if I was not entirely sure what happened at this place. I went to spend a night with my fiancee. when we returned from the hotel restaurant for the dinner; the room was tidy, we found strange at the same time was a nice touch. The next morning, when we packed our things, I...

We visited this lodge last year (2015) when it was Qawana Lodge. We were there during low season and were the only guests at the hotel. The manager back then was a charming lady by the name of Vicky who made us feel as if we were staying at a friend's home. The service was personal and they went out...

My daughter and I spent 2 nights here and our stay was not what I expected. The building is very attractive and our room was spacious and comfortable. All of the people who work here are friendly and helpful. However, there were a lot of things that weren't right. The shower flooded the bathroom floor, there was no bottled water...

A group of 6 of us travelled Peru in January 2016. Our first stop was at the Qawana Lodge, close to Machu Picchu. This ambitious lodge fell far from expectations. Situated by the side of a river, it offers a green belt on one side and corn fields on the other. Our driver barely found it. Although spacious and nicely...

Just came back from a trip to Peru via Machu Picchu and found this amazing place tucked away in the Sacred Valley. Victoria speaks both English and Spanish and was a tremendous help with our stay there. You can find her in reservations at the front desk. The Lodge is beautiful, scenic and just so relaxing. I would recommend this...

A place where one can enjoy mountains, river, and valley all in one place. Easy access to all the wonders of the Sacred Valley. I have stayed there five times and will soon go for the sixth time. A quiet, peaceful retreat. No phone in room, no TV, no internet except for emergencies or on your own phone. Great to...

I was very disappointed with the Q'awana Lodge. It is in a beautiful location in the sacred valley and it looks nice, but it is not worth the price. For $100/night and an expensive cab ride from Cusco we were hoping this would be a little splurge after our 5-day camping trek. Instead we received a freezing cold room (they...

Beautiful setting in the Sacred Valley. Ideal for a relaxing retreat or as a base for exploring the Valley. Rooms have views of the mountains and river. Charming rustic dining room has outdoor riverside seating with spectacular views. My husband and I were suprised by the excellent restaurant. Quiet, beautiful, peaceful. My only criticism is that I wish there were...

A fantastic place - very pleasant and helpful manager; great views; great room; good food. Liked the fact that they are considering the environment (i.e. not daily bedding/towel wash unless requested). Only disappointment was limited hot water for bath.

We enjoyed this lodge very much. We stayed for 4 nights while visiting Machu Pichu. Initially we were going to stay in Ollanta, but were unable to find the right place. When we selected Qwana, we were a bit concerned about the distance from the lodge to the Ollanta station since we had reserved the 6.00 am train to Machu...
