We were part of a tour group and some of us got older, not as nice rooms without ensuite bathrooms - we had to go out of the room in public view to access the washroom. There was no air-con so we had to keep the ceiling fan going at night. The nice beach was uncrowded and there were enough...

We spent 4 nights at koralia in January 2017. In general the experience was good: bungalow perfect even if not hot water... Location was superb, incredible garden near the sea. You can walk kilometers on the beach without seeing anybody, really nice. The staff was the best surprise of this hotel. They do everything to make your stay nice. Congrats...

This is an amazing place. People are always trying to make your stay great. The rooms are amazing (we did not like the cold water for the shower...but it is part of the experience I guess) Food is amazing!!! every plate is a surprise ... Wish I could stay there and see the stars every night.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover Koralia with its retro 60s theme including The Beatles and Buddhism. A different sort of B&B I suppose. Conditions are somewhat primitive but enjoyable all the same. I slept in a private bungalow in a hammock with mosquito netting The owner and staff are all very accommodating and speak English well. Try to get...

Thanks Steve, Yes the Kogi are a pretty amazing people. The short version is that they are the Big Brothers and we all the Little Brothers. Their entire purpose in existence was to watch the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta for signs of an environmental apocalypse and to warn the rest of Humanity. For hundreds of years and generation after...

Perfect throughout. Unbelievable romantic spot. Very wide and very few guests. I have rarely seen such a long and beautiful beach with such few people. You can find unlimited privacy. Perfectly friendly staff. Food was surprisingly at very high standard. The couple running the bar made every visit very a great stay. The resort owner lady is very engaged in...

Very friendly and attentive staff. Meals and restaurant of excellent quality. Wifi only at reception. No swimming pool. Swimming in the sea not really advisable. Excellent place for trips to Tayrona Park.

Thank you for taking the time to write. The ocean is such a variable being. Some months it is clear and blue, others a bit more wild. This is all part of life at Playa Koralia as you lie in the lee of the spiritual Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta; where snow-capped peaks rise 20k from the Caribbean ocean. We...

Playa Koralia is a beautiful destination in an incredible and unique place. The lodge itself, with seaside cabanas, a surprise top-quality menu each and every day, and across the board friendly service is already worth the trip. Throw in the fact that you have the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta as a backdrop, and the options are endless: Parque Tayrona...

When wedding planning, beach, boho-style this could be the dreamed place BUT... just think twice and consider on going somewhere else. You CAN count with an amazing location (yes, pictures can turn out really good, even on a rainy non-caribbean day), you can also count with a non planned discussion with the "events director" PATRICIA which would not only avoid...

Playa Koralia is a small hotel near the Parque Tayrona National Park. Located one hour from Santa Marta. The rooms are very nice, have no air conditioning but they have strong ventilators. The bathrooms are open air and very big. The food is good but you can't choose what you're eating. The menu is fixed unless you make a special...

If you want to relax and be taken care of, come to Playa Koralia. I would not call it a hotel, more of a retreat. Fantastic staff. Great food. Wonderful, peaceful atmosphere. If you can, go to the Sacred Pool. Very unique. Erica and David. Rock on! Do not come here if air conditioning is a must have. That was...
