I was recommended by my hotel Jony’s when I asked about the best Spa in boracay. This is the perfect retreat. The reception area and trees in front may be kind of giving not a perfect first impression but the spa massage treatment is so exceptional. Thanks to the very kind receptionist who told me their special massage + scrub package. The therapist May is truly really the best one I had ever met. The private bungalow is also luxurious. I may not come back Boracay since it’s still not that improving (the roads and condition around) and has become too touristy. But I highly recommend Mandala spa 💖💖💖 grateful for finding it

The hotel is located away from the crowded part of White Beach, so it was very relaxing but a bit of a walk to get to the heart of the tourist area with all the shops and restaurants. My room was big and quiet but could use an update and the wifi was very slow. The restaurant was good but didn't have a big menu. The best thing about the resort is the spa. I got the Princess package, and it was amazing.

This review is for the spa only. Mandala was recommended for their spa treatments by many on the island. My friend and I walked in and made appointments for the following day (fyi: it was a bit further from the beach area than expected, but still walkable). They graciously agreed to pick us up at our hotel the next morning (100 PHP fee) since we were staying elsewhere. We chose the 2 1/2 hour package treatment that included a foot bath, cucumber wrap, massage, facial and tea time. The treatment hut is situated in lush, beautiful setting and the many treatments were excellent. The price is extremely affordable (less than $100 USD for the entire experience). Highly recommend!

We've been in the Island for how many times and we stay commonly at the front beach which made more accessible. But the last year we had decided try Mandala which located along the main road of the island. When you enter the place you will feel the different ambiance of the area since it was surrounded by vegetation. Huge villas with own private balcony and bathrooms that made you feel classy. The staff are superb and very attentive especially Cedric who manage to attend our timely request. The spa also is one of the best secret, how Maylin handled every flow and gesture make it more holistic. Sad that we have only limited time to stay but will definitely visit this place again.

We went for a treat today and will definitely be back Elke and Cedric who booked us in and gave us a warm welcome were great and the villa and spa treatments were fabulous! Thank you to Ria and Clarisse for ensuring our experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment you enter the drive off the main road, you begin to relax and then the villas provide an oasis of tranquility away from the beach. We can’t recommend it highly enough but we wish we could have stayed overnight..the current restrictions won’t allow it but hopefully sometime soon.

My wife and I spent 2 weeks visiting my family and decided to spend the end of our trip on Boracay just us two. The resort is beautiful and our room was spacious and felt luxurious (especially for the price!) The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. When we arrived they helped us with our bags to our room. Every worker from the reception, spa, even the guy watering the plants greets you with a smile and a friendly hello.
My wife and I are both transgender and were never misgendered or mistreated. I even got a massage without an issue. Highly recommend getting a massage! They serve you tea and it’s a very relaxing experience. I chose the Muscle Melt because the description said it focuses on shoulders and lower back pain and I had been complaining about lower back pain before we got to Boracay. After that massage I still have no back pain even after returning home and going back to my physically demanding job as a welder. I loved the beautiful clothing in the lounge area of the spa. We definitely took some pieces home and got my wife a pair of earrings too.
The resort is a short walk to the beach but be aware you will have to go down a hill on a trail type stairs with uneven, rocky ground and no handrails. At the end of the stairs there’s a pedestrian gate that leads out to the street that goes downhill before getting to the beach. It was easy for me and my wife but if you need mobility aids/disabled or are really out of shape or really drunk it might be difficult. The convenience stores, restaurants, bars, souvenir shops along the beach are very walkable (we only stayed in station 3). The free breakfast at the resort was also amazing. We ordered the fried fish flakes, quinoa pancakes, omelette, eggs florentine.
My wife and I are well traveled and this was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had!
Maraming salamat po Mandala! We enjoyed our stay so much we can’t wait to go back and will definitely recommend to our family and friends.

The spa experience was excellent definitely 5 stars. I had trouble there! We decided to walk. It appears that google doesn’t have the right direction We decided to walk with guidance from google maps. It took us more than half hour in the Hot sun. A suggestion to the establishment is to offer pickups, quite easily possible with the Army of three wheelers that are EV on the island.

Every day, my husband and I would make it a point to watch the sunset from the resort's beachfront. After going for a swim, the attentive butlers would be ready with cold pandan water for us. Throughout our stay, little things like taho and arroz caldo during breakfast and kakanin for turndown service made balikbayans like us feel truly at home.
There are so many luxury stays around the world but what truly separates Discovery apart is the genuine warmth of their Filipino staff. Can't wait to come back!

Spacious well appointed room comfy bed and plenty of pillows. There was a large private balcony, and large bathroom. Loved the outdoor shower. At first no hot water but a quick call to the staff, they switched on the heater and nice hot shower. No cell reception but there was free WiFi through the property. Excellent 4 hour spa experience. There was no pool but the property provides access to their electric tuk-tuk to take you down to the beach in minutes.

I went with an Asian and Caucasian friend and we didn't have any issues in terms of discrimination. I would say that the staff is very friendly and accommodating at Mandala and as long as you treat them with the same courtesy and respect you shouldn't have any issue.
Guesstimating from the few times I have made this trip.
10 minutes from caticlan airport to water.
10 minutes across water to jettyport.
10 minutes to Mandala.
