Hotel is old and bedrooms really need updating, underground car park which is a bit tight if you have a large or high vehicle charged at 8 euros per night. Bedroom and Bathroom were dark and old fashioned but clean. You can get to the old town either by taking a 30 minute stroll or catching the number 10 bus.... More

We spend two nights in this hostel. O.k. old-fashioned but adequate and cheap. Nice staff, clean rooms and very good wifi. Unfortunately we stayed durning fiesta and was very noisy on the corridors at night! Old Town is 10-minute walk away.

This is officially a hostal, not a hotel. The hotel we were heading for was closed and there was no on-street parking. So went in search of somewhere to stay while my husband guarded the car. Was a bit dubious of a hostal, but the girl on reception was very helpful and offered a room at a very reasonable price... More

The hotel is located on Ramón y Cajal in the center of the new town. I was able to reach the cathedral area of the old town, the main tourist destination in maybe 20 minutes. The second half of the walk is a pretty steep uphill climb via steps and inclined roads. I highly recommend the 5€ walking tour of... More

If you want to feel real Spain, go to Cuenca! No tourists practically and so romantic views! We have stayed in Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid but hotel in Cuenca was the best! The price is very good for what they offer! We had very nice room in Spanish style, I liked the bathroom! Unfortunately, stuff didn\t speak English, but it... More

Cuenca with its "hanging houses" and excellent museum of modern abstract Spanish painting is worth visiting while in Spain. However, if you do not want to leave your car in the street, you will have a problem as parkings are scarce. If this is your concern you will be happy to discover Hostal Cortes with a private parking at 15'... More

This is a budget hotel so don't expect frills. However it was all there. The room was clean if rather old fashioned but it had a big wardrobe an lots of draw space. The bed was comfy and there was a desk and chair. The bathroom was excellent with all the usual including the biggest bath I've seen in ages.... More

Well located hostal but in need of redecorating. Old-fashioned bathroom and furniture. Not worth the price. Margarita -Spain
