Amazing value for money, Hostal Tabanqueta is at the top of Cuenca's historical centre, a stone's throw from car parking spaces and Iglesia de San Pedro. We couldn't ask for more with the room we had. Super clean, comfortable bed, modern shower with great water pressure, and an absolutely beautiful view out the window. Free wi-fi is another fabulous benefit...

We spent two nights at the Hostal, which certainly exceeded our expectations. It was modern, very clean and had such excellent views of the mountains and city. The room had a tv, hot drink facilities with biscuits and cake and the bathroom area was exceptionally clean with all day hot water. The location was at the top end of the...

My wife and I stayed at Hostal Tabanqueta for one night and absolutely loved the hostel and the town of Cuenca. The hostel is clean, modern, well decorated and has an excellent location in the old part of Cuenca. The hostel is excellent value for money and is more like a hotel than a hostel. Our room had a little...

Spent three nights at this immacutely clean, comfortable and scenic hostal. The wi-fi, heating, hot water, and selection of coffee and teas in the room, to say nothing of the ideal location near the top of the old quarter, gave me all I needed. When I checked out I was told that the daily rate is 5 euros per night...

This hostal offers comfortable and stylish rooms, but no breakfast. However, there is a kettle and biscuits/pastries supplied in the room, which was a nice touch. Our room was beautifully decorated - not too fussy - with a comfortable real double bed with crisp linen. The bathroom was up to date and a pleasure to use, while enjoying the view...

Big thumbs up to this hostal. It's easy to find (just across from a bus stop) and located right in the old town, just a few minutes walk to many of the attractions. The rooms and facilities are modern, clean and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable. Our room, facing the street, had beautiful views. I'm particularly grateful to...

The location of the" hostal" is great. We got three rooms, two facing the street-which can be a bit noisy -and one at the back with amazing views! I highly recommend this place if you want to stay in Cuenca. Each room was big with plenty of space, well decorated and it had a coffee and tea and some complimentary...

Taking the train from Barcelona to Madrid we decided to stop for two night in the quaint town of Cuenca. This hotel is in the perfect location for walking the streets of the old part of Cuenca. The hotel is beautiful, all the rooms have been remodeled and are in perfect condition. The bathrooms are amazing and the views are...

We paid 50 Euros for our room and had a first floor room (103). The views from the window are stunning (as pictured), and the room was nice with comfortable beds. A very modern bathroom (as pictured) and a great shower. Very friendly woman who also runs the shop below, spoke no English but we understood each other! A bargain...

“I had a street-facing room which was fine because I had a stunning view of a cross on a hilltop that was illuminated at night. I think the rooms on the opposite side have a view of a river/gorge. Really, any room is probably good.”
