Food quality. Very poor.restaurant service a shame. We treat our dogs with more respect.we had the special zamora gourmet menu. It is a pity that in a hotel of this allure the food was so mediocre and the lack of friendliness made also the dining experience a disaster. Avoid this restaurant. We are since lonf Amigos de Paradores, but this...

Being part of it adds to enchantment. Zamora is a monumental city hugged by the Duero river. The Parador, which are government owned hotels operating in historic landmarks, are a very good way of syncronizing with the atmosphere of the city. This one in particular is an old castle. They are clean, beautiful and the food is very good. It...

Generally very good, except for restaurant experience detailed on previous page Impressive historic building in a very good location in an exceptional town, with its Romanesque churches, and riverside walks

Comfortable, charming, full of character. Suits of armour scattered about the broad hallways. pleasant location, quiet, in the old town so traffic is limited. You really can believe El Cid stayed here!

Kind, courteous, knowledgeable staff. Excellent accomodations. Fine food. Views from room were awesome. Old castle full of antiques and history. Easy walk to old Zamora as well as shopping and dining. We will be back.

Difficult to get to through narrow streets. Even though we were Amigos parking cost 18€! Booked deal which included a bottle of cava, however we only got half a bottle. When I questioned this I was told it was up to the individual hotel and I should have checked directly with them before making the booking.

The Parador, like many Spanish Paradors, is in a beautiful building, centrally located in Zamora. Arriving after a long journey we found finding the Parador quite stressful as the streets leading to it are tiny and the street signs not obvious. The hotel apparently has a few parking spaces but these were all full while we were there so we...

Super location right in the old city. Garmin got us there without a problem. Rooms are luxurious with crisp and absolutely spotless linen. The only downside is that the bathrooms need either a good scrub and clean or a total makeover. Dirty bathrooms at any establishment leaves a bad taste - it's not fair on your paying guests ! Deserving...

Visited here by train from Madrid - just a short taxi ride from the station. Not a particularly smiling welcome from the reception staff but the hotel is a lovely old building with the usual Parador look and feel with lots of wood and stone floors etc. Very comfortable bed and the usual well appointed Parador bathroom with his/hers sinks....
