Picking 2 stars hotel I didn't expect such a great conditions. All rooms are having amazing sea view, are clean and well maintained. Swimming pool is nice 3 meters deep so you can feel save jumping in. Food choice is also quite good considering the price. Very nice surprise!

You know what you get in advance, but no airco in summertime is still something you dearly miss. Luckily you are outdoor at the pool or the beach most of the time. We also missed a minibar in our room. The pool is big and nice to swim in for every age. The breakfast and diner is ok. Nothing special, but also not bad. Location of the hotel is a plus, with the nice view of the bay of Roses. The rooms are not small, but have not much extra's. The bathroom is big and tidy.

We have visted this hotel as both couple and family. The hotel has a very welcome feel and it has stunning views over the bay of Roses. The continental breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Staff were very helpful. We were fortunate to have a room on the third floor which has been renovated. These have electronic keys and air conditioning. The hotel is excellent value and the good thing is that there are always different nationalities staying in the hotel. On our first visit to this hotel thirty years ago we thought it was special, thirty years later it still is.

If you have any choice do not stay at this hotel, There is nothing to recommend at all. It is overpriced, rising to 100 euros in August for a double room with breakfast. It certainly does not deserve its 2 star status - no TV or fan in the room. Be warned.

Nice 2 star hotel with great view of the city. City centre can be reached by foot in 10 minutes. Hotel is simple but clean, rooms are nice, not spectacular but value for money. Staff is friendly, check in was quick. No air conditioning but fan. Pool is big and clean with plenty of sun chairs and some umbrellas for shade. Overall satisfied.

Stayed 5 days in August and caught the Festival of Giants. Despite the hill, a great location to town. Not therefore part of the tourist enclave on the other side of town. Room basic but clean, but no A/C. Food better than average. Pool really nice and quiet. Staff helpful but not in your face. Entertainment by the locals on Friday and Saturday was just that, entertaining for an hour. Roses is a lovely real town and and the surrounds a great location. Mostly French and Spanish on hols. We really enjoyed our stay here. The view is cracking.

My boyfriend and I had our first holiday here in September! The view from our room was lovely, especially at night when everything was lit up!
I am quite a fussy eater but the continental breakfast had a good variety.
Our room was always clean and the maid even folded my pyjamas up for me and placed them under my pillow :)!
Bar staff and reception staff were very helpful and polite.
We had a great time, the pool was bigger than expected, weather was just nice and roses was a lovely place to go.... I'm sure we will return :)!

Oh and great exercise climb the hill to the hotel not so easy in heels ha!

on our way back to Barcelona from Nice we stopped for a night in Roses. we found this hotel very friendly and with a spectacular view. the lady at reception was very helpful and showed us the room before we decided to stay over and gave us an even better room at the 3rd level when she realized we just want a good night sleep for our 3 year old baby. the room was very nice and cool although there is no aircon in the rooms. the view was amazing. we had a good night sleep the only negative is that we woke up with a horrible smell from the drain in the bathroom. a newly refurbished bathroom that was so stinky we had to leave asap. the breakfast was ok, staff was nice and helpful. I would go back again the only negative is that I didn't like the resort at all! it was full of dodgy people, drunk or old and drunk. i didn't feel safe at all. the beach was sandy and looked lovely in the evening. we paid 60 Eur for a night for 3 people. a bargain.

I can honestly say that this is the best 2☆ hotel I have ever stayed in, and there's been quite a few. Don't be put off by the entrance appearance, as it's at the back of the hotel. All the rooms have a full sea view, and what a view it is. Set high above the town of Roses you can see the whole bay accross to L'ascala and across to the Pyrenees mointains. The dining room also has panoramic views from the sun terrace. The bedrooms have been recently refurbished and are nice and large as are the bathrooms. The food is basic but plentiful and the staff are always very pleasant. The pool is large with a nice bar. There is lots of free safe parking too.
If you stay in July and August you may be a bit hot at night because there is no A/C in the rooms but you do have a directional fan. You will also find the hotel clientele is 95% French. There again the whole town is geared to the French. I love the place and will certainly stay again when next in the area. Excellent value for money, go half board.

Oui il y a un ascenseur. Par contre lorsqu'on est au niveau du restaurant et qu'on veuille aller au bar ou à piscine c'est un escalier.
