Location is very good, right in the center. We were a part of a wedding group .Adequate sized, OK clean rooms. Somewhat dated decor but very friendly staff and good breakfast. The hotel is family owned property so it has a certain charm of a small independent hotel. I recommend it for it's great location and friendly, no frills service.

I love the location - just in the heart of this charmy town. Yeah, we were completely wet as the rainfall was huge.. But the reception was nice, room was okay and beer is great :) Basic things could be better with a smile!

For change we chose a private hotel instead of relying in big chains. From the moment we stepped in we knew that this was a good choice. Smiling lady behind the counter with an attitude telling you that she really cares making you really feel welcome. As we got our keys we asked about the sauna she told that it's...

The hotel was ok, not especially good or bad. The sauna was nice. Breakfast was a regular breakfast, nothing special really, just ok. We had a good night's sleep, and the hotel is located right in the city center (excellent location thus). A functional hotel room, wouldn't go there for a romantic stay though. Good for a business-related visit.

We stayed one night. Clean room, very friendly staff at the reception. Free parking (at least during our stay on a weekend). The hotel is very well located in the heart of the town. Breakfast was average with your usual hotel-breakfast-food served. Nice that the 70's-80's architecture is kept alive.

We are happy to notice that our staff has been very friendly. Hotel Emilia is built 1970´s and we have some "spirit" from those days in our hotel, nice to hear, that somebody has noticed that :) Have a nice summer!

My experience in this hotel was for one night. I was working over there and my opinion is great place for sleep and walk around the city, visit some special places, in Hameenlinna and some good restaurants.

Small, well kept and friendly Service. The room was clean, bed good and bathroom also clean but all in small scale. The Hotel was located along a walking street with terass in front serving drinks late in the night. Free parking was provided but access to reception ny car was not there. So luggage had to be carried from the car...

The room was clean and there was nothing to complain about it. During the night, it was also silent. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good and there was everything as usually is in hotel breakfast in Finland. However, I've got better breakfast too. Parking place for the bike was OK.

The hotel is very centrally located and only minutes from the bus station. The street in front of the hotel is only for pedestrians so no traffic noise. But there is a bar belonging to the Hotel right in front of it and you can hear the music and people. Windows are doing a good job and the noise is...

It is nicer to stay in family hotels than in chain hotels. In Hotel Emilia's case, I don't know if there would have been any difference. The hotel could belong to any middle class chains in Finland. The location of the hotel is great, in the very heart of the town. Problem is, of course, that some of the night...
