I spent last night at the Brooklyn motel. Missed the station I park at and ended up at Hawksbury River at midnight. Tried to get a cab but virtually impossible, next train back to my car wasn't coming for hours. I walked up to the main street and saw the motel front door open, called the phone number at the...

Just had two nights here to support a trip on the Riverboat Postman. Bert was friendly and helpful from out initial booking and subsequent queries, and then from book-in to departure. The motel's interior was far different from its façade, fortunately. It appears to be an old house which has been converted into five similar units and an owners residence....

This older motel in Brooklyn was a great place to stay. From when I first made an inquiry til when we booked out was a good experience. Room was clean and well maintained. The hosts couldn't do enough to make our stay a happy one. We did have a problem with Internet connection but this may have been due to...

A birthday treat saw us here for a night and it was a good experience. We had room #1 (front) which was very well appointed. Large room, clean, well equipped. Comfortable bed with usual facilities - TV, tea making etc. Also had a microwave, spa bath and some DVDs available. When the loud band started in the pub across the...

A clean, spacious, well equipped and kept room and a friendly host. The motel is in the centre of the village. Pleasant short walks along the waterfront before or after a long day in the car are close at hand. The only thing missing was a box of tissues but they may have been available if we had asked.

We decided to isitvthe Hawkesbury after passing through it by train manyvtimes so we bookedv2 nights at the Brooklyn NC Motel. The room was clean and comfortable with a small patio. The room had a microwave and cutlery and crockery which we found indispensable as there are few eating options. We did the Hawkesbury River Postman trip and took the...

Don't let the exterior fool you - I nearly did and it would have been a mistake. Rooms are huge and have every comfort. The bathroom fittings are very upmarket - even a spa. A nice balcony included. Very very clean. The steps from the roadway upto the footpath are steep but how often do you need them. The alley...

We stayed one night at this motel. It is quite well provisioned for a motel, albeit not priced as a motel. The room was spacious, the bathroom had a bath with jets. The coffee and tea making facility included real milk, toaster, jam, plunger coffee - all a pleasant surprise. My only negative comment is that we were in Room...
