The Lasagne was straight out of the microwave with a dollop of pizza sauce and melted microwaved cheese. The carbonara looked revolting. The salad bar was ok but again very outdated. We Would not be returning anytime soon.

We ordered barramundi with mash and garlic prawns. The mash was cold. The fish over cooked and the prawns were like rubber. All and all it was a combination of absolute no flavour. The mash took over everything. It was priced at $36 and was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent. Won't be going back. The waitress...

What can be said for a hotel whose lunch menu is one of the best, if not the best I've seen for a long time. The salad bar was excellent with some usual salads and tastes. The mixed seafood platter was a really special lunch, cooked well and very delicious. The chicken Caesar salad was the best I have ever...

I had booked and asked for a table near the salad bar due to the fact we 6 people attending and 3 were disabled but when arriving I was shown to my table which was the most furthest away from the salad bar and was a 4 person table made to fit 6 people with no room for disabled people...

Organised this location after reading reviews about the Hotel. Food was great, staff were very attentive. The only critisism being NO facilities for the grandchildren to play, after reading an indoor jumping castle etc were there for the adults to relax in relatively peace and quiet.

Went to the Esplanade for dinner last night. Not impressed with special board as the prices were expensive. Meals came slowly. The gentleman who took my order was unorganised and had to repeat my order twice.

Good location, but overpriced for the accommodation we received. However, staff were friendly. Book in room outdated. Advertised breakfast until 10, however was only till 9 in dining room. Room was relatively clean.

Six of us for lunch. Three had fish and chips, one a seafood basket - all good. Tasty beer-battered fish. A tad expensive at $27! (About double the price for the same dish at our favourite watering hole - the Northcliffe Hotel.) I and another had the roast pork from the specials menu. A poor choice for both of us...

Close to the beach and jetty, we found the Esplanade Hotel to be a nice, comfortable place to stay with easy parking. The food at the restaurant was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a family apartment and enjoyed a late check out at no extra cost. We'll stay here again.

They advertise the times they do lunch and dinner, but no mention of breakfast, but we went in and asked as non guests and they said we could order. Gave us forms to fill out, as a guest would do. Everything was ok apart from the two small hairs hiding under my husbands poached eggs. Hairs in the napkin as...
