We needed a 1 night stopover for 2 people. We wanted 2 rooms but had to settle for 1 with a double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was rock hard.
The motel style room was dated but adequate. The catch/ lock on the bathroom door did not work.
The WiFi did not work! Which meant we had to travel into town to connect to the Internet to arrange ongoing travel arrangements.
The manager said he could get a signal in his house next door but it did not work in the rooms.
There was no apology or discount.
It's just as well it was too cold to go in the pool as it was dirty.

This was one of my favorite places to stay during our 3 week vacation in Australia. EVERYTHING was clean, accessible and exactly what anyone could want for a short or long stay. Bed was comfortable, linens fresh and good quality. Nice seating area inside and also on balcony. The balcony view across the field was spectacular at sunset, including kangaroos sightings evening & morning.
Thank you Dale we thoroughly enjoyed

Very basic accommodation. Rooms seen better days. Ok value for money. Pool and tennis courts good but didn't get to use them.
Located on busy road, noisy overnight. Not 2 bedroom chalet as advertised but 1 bedroom with QS bed, other beds in lounge room. Ensuite to master implies ensuite plus main bathroom. No, only one bathroom. Some newer furniture, some old furniture. Curtains in lounge/bedroom old and ill fitting. Needs a refurbish and redecorate. Definitely not 4 star, 3 star at best.

Not happy put into the wrong room. Booked months ago with friends but they moved us because they double booked our room. The shower was terrible. I must say it was very clean though. Very disappointed was looking forward to our stay The people are nice but I was just upset about being put in an old room and away from the people we were traveling with. We booked first how come we got the old room. Not Happy

Booked the room thru booking.com and I agree with previous reviews, it wasn’t easy to find even with Navman! It’s about a 3 to 5 min drive to restaurants and the main beach. The room is functional and the bed comfy with a good sized bathroom. There was no breakfast facility but I don’t think that was part of my booking anyway. The host was certainly not friendly but accommodating I guess. Not sure if I would stay here again given te other choices we saw closer in town.

Signage limited or non existent for locating property, drove around for 10 minutes trying to find it. No signs to book in once there and no one noticed us walking around the property for a further 10 minutes. Left and no one noticed. Accommodation added on to someone's home and seemed to lack privacy from other guests. Too far from town for meals.

Stayed here on Monday night, when arrived there was a hand written not with mine and 5 other names on it for self checkin. This was ok as eventually we worked out our room.
The room itself was great, we are easy pleased great shower, kitchen and view of paddocks. The reason I was unhappy was the after service. I phoned both numbers to find out how to get breaky in the morning as it was included in the cost and they both went to voice mail. In the morning we rang the door bell around 9 and a lady answered, we asked about breaky and she said she would check. She came back down and went to another room to let them now they didn't have it in there package. After realising she was speaking with the wrong people as she saw us walking past and let us know it was not included, as I said we are easy going it was on our receipt but we don't like to argue. I asked if everything else was ok and paid for and she said yes. This is the part I became upset with the motel. We only have debit cards and unknown to me we used our debit card after being told everything was paid for, I booked this months ago through bookings.com I was unsure if we paid. I was called that night from a lady asking me for another credit card to pay for the room. I asked her if it had been paid already as the other lady had said it was ok. She said no we charge you after you leave. I asked her then about the breaky and she said yes it was included but it was only toast cereal and orange juice. I asked would there be a discount and she said she would take $10 off the total for breaky unless " we wanted to go back to have it" I found this rude at 6pm at night and advised to let her know that we have moved on in our journey, she then said it was a joke in a rude way. I have a sense of humour and this "joke" didn't feel funny. I paid for the room and when asked was that $10 per person she said no per room as they don't charge a lot. So that's a cheap breaky for other travellers if staying there. The room was great away a little from the city and beach but very comfortable. If you don't mind no service this is the place to stay.

Mum and I traveled around the region basing ourselves here. It was a great quiet location, close to all amenities and the highways . The room was comfortable and warm as it was quite cold out. There was sufficient parking and the view out to the paddocks was lovely. The kitchenette had everything we needed and we stocked up at local supermarket for the weekend essentials. The Bathroom was ok but could probably do with better ventilation or a heater. Overall a lovely spot would certainly recommend to people needing a base as you can do the loop to 12 apostles via great ocean road quite easily in a day . Lovely and quality accommodation .

Very clean, neat, tidy and well built extension to the main B&B. Closely located to Torquay resturants and beach just down the road. Room had everything we needed. The view across the fields from our room was lovely, very relaxing, great for a beer or wine after a day of travelling or looking around.

Room very small for the price, wardrobe in room but no where to park suit case if not unpacking. Bathroom taps have been replaced but only a very quick touch up paint job around them, no mirror above sink. 3 of the 4 windows do not have fly screens (we had a mozzie in room whilst trying to sleep). Roof in need of entire strip & re-paint, door very hard to open & close- incorrect fit. Door handle of Toilet in hall came off on opening door. Poor lighting, especially up stairs & in hall. No view from room, all windows 5ft high. Breakfast very, very basic. Only oats or weet bix & bread a few days old.
