We sent a large group of 40+ people to Big 4 Seymour for a “dads and lads” weekend. Manager Julie was consistently helpful with the booking over numerous phone calls, queries and changes. Melbourne went into COVID lockdown two weeks before our visit; Julie was fair about possible refunds under changing scenarios. Thanks for all your help Julie; you were a pleasure to deal with!

Enjoyed staying at the Big 4 Seymour in a one bedroom standard cabin that appeared to be new. Great for single or couples. Modern kitchen amenities and nice decking to sit out on. If only more Caravan Parks could have this type of accommodation, especially for couples and especially for seniors travelling. Not all baby boomers want to tow a home on wheels.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, nice and clean facilities and grounds. The park itself is situated on the Goulburn river and not far from the town centre. Just outside of the park on the river is a jetty that is fantastic to do some fishing off of

Recovering after river floods and they are slowly repairing the park. This was a caravan stay in May 2023. Mixture of cabins ( at time of report mostly taken by workers) and small and larger caravan sites. Concrete slabs on some sites but some of these sites are very small and not level.Larger sites on grassed area. Unpowered sites down by the river. Some drive through sites. Washing machine $6 a load, Free WiFi. Pet friendly. Dog wash facilities. A spacious Camp kitchen ( both BBQ not working at time of this report) Staff need to keep glass doors of camp kitchen open and screen doors shut ( smells a bit mouldy when totally closed . Don’t know if by accident or design by staff but did not cramp everyone together and spread out vans so we weren’t living in each other back pocket. Driveways and paths could do with upgrade. Plenty potholes and uneven and slippery surfaces. Toilets were clean with plenty hot water and pressure for showers. No kids playground in the park itself but there is one in council park next door. With Big 4 discount $44 night

Drive through sites have not been upgraded for 15 years, dirty & not user friendly
Main amenities, only 3 showers & 3 toilets. not enough for a full holiday park
Pricing was inflated as to a long weekend. Also bushfirers & coronavirus was used as a reason to charge $55.00 per night. After 3 weeks holidaying on east coast NSW no park fees were over &38.00 per night. Lakes Enterance charges were $63.00 for 2 nights, same long weekend.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, dingo2734. We are sorry to read that you did not find the park good value on this occasion. We have a significant investment and commitment to providing quality facilities and additional activities for our guests, especially during peak periods, and this is reflected by different tariffs throughout the year. We do run regular specials outside of periods of high demand to cater for all budgets and allow more guests to experience a holiday with us. We paid $144- with the Big 4 member discount for a lovely 2 BR cabin for one night. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and a small verandah and seating at the front. The river is a minute’s walk and the park was peaceful.

The challenges for caravan parks ravaged by the October 22 floods is still evident close to 12 months later. The majority of the cabins have been gutted and refitted, amenities refreshed (not modern) but still some infrastructure requires repair (gates, roadways, jumping pillow, dog-wash). They have done an amazing job and, situated near the lovely parks and trails along the Goulburn River, there is lots to offer visitors to the park. Enjoyed our time here visiting Seymour. The park is very peaceful and quiet.

We used a drive through site overnight. These sites provided easy access arriving and leaving. Lovely quiet location by the river. Amenities spotless and excellent camp kitchen. Cost was $43 with Big 4 discount. Excellent stopover en route to Melbourne.

The park and surrounds are fantastic. Close to town, river access if fishing. Only issue we had was the people who worked in the office were not very friendly or welcoming. When leaving we felt that we couldn't leave soon quick enough so they could clean cabins.

Our family stayed in the unpowered sites 98, huge amounts of space, large sites beautiful green grass on the river. Very kid friendly, close to water taps and bins which were empty daily.
Bathroom showers and Kitchener and toilets are all immaculately kept and we have quite a high standard. Julie was amazing and very helpful, Patrick help us with jumper leads out of hours.
Yeah we're definitely booking again next year.
