Views were stunning, enjoyed bird feeding however the cottages were in disrepair. There were at least two power points that didn't work. And light globes that needed replacing. Mostly the information on the website was total was misrepresented regarding the standard of accommodation. It was actually quite sub-standard. The place needed renovation. Better still they should knock them all down... More

Faulty Towers hasn't got a patch on this place. It is disgusting. We booked a cottage for the weekend and although the location is lovely the room was filthy dirty and stank! The kitchen smelt off, the tea towels were unusable, the pots and pans filthy, the windows rotting, the carpets and mats are old and sticky, the porch was... More

Our most recent trip to Lorne, We decided to stay overnight. The only thing available was these cottages. At about 3pm, we went out to have a quick look at the accommodation and met with the manager (Mark). We advised him that there would be 6 adults and children, but he advised that the children stay free. We told him... More

This place needs to be avoided by everyone travelling as a group. I booked 2 cottages for a group and the staff member we had (Mark) was a terrible host. He accused us of a list of things that we never did and lectured me as if I was a child. He demanded more money from us and was very... More

Agree with everyone on here. This place has the WORST management I have ever experienced. Mark was rude to us, and accused us of things we didn't even do. He was ranting and raving at midnight wakening all the other guests I am sure. He should not be in the hospitality industry and is a disgrace. For the $700 we... More

The worst hotel and hotel service I've ever experience. Customer service at its worst. When I travel I always look at a hotel to see if it's kid friendly so that my family can come in the future. This hotel is defiantly NOT a kid/ toddler safe place. Dirty dusty floors, well it's in a national forest so you expect... More

Stayed here recently with a group and although it suited our needs (group of blokes just needing somewhere to rest our heads), I would not book this place for a stay with the family or friends. It is really run down and needs lots of money spent on it to get it up to a reasonable standard. We did not... More

Such a shame this place has become such a dump. If its not worn out or broken, it isnt there or filthy. I went there about 6 years ago and had a great time. Coming back a couple months ago was a mistake!! I wish I had have read the reviews. Seems to be consistant with my experience..... Pull your... More

We were a group of 14 accommodating in two cottages with one having 2 and the other comprising 3 bedrooms. We spend 2 nights which costed us thousand dollars. We were happy with the location although the cottages were smelly and untidy. There was nothing we could appreciate except the views. It couldn't have got worse when we were packing... More
