The hotel was a building site during our stay in Feb 2017. This works involved daily felling/ trimming trees with chain saws, painting every thing that didn't move! Result, noisy and smelly environment, preventing use pool, patio of our room for two mornings when the floor was painted. Each day we had to leave to get some peace and quiet....

We stayed here for World Superbikes and although it appears that they are beginning to make some changes to the place we found it quite ok for the money. The service was good and the room facilities were ok. My only issue was that the parking is very tight due to it being multi story I guess but when we...

The new owners seem to be doing a great job of upgrading this place. We have s newly refurbished room with a view of by water which is lovely, although it is a little like a building site. Fantastic location, across from the front beach and around the corner from restaurants and shops. I was a little worried about the...

We stayed last week for 5 days. A lot of maintenance going on new owners, painting outside, garden area being done which badly needed doing. Room the same as our last stay, bigger TV this time on the wall in front of main bed, last time old box style TV. Shower takes about 5 mins for hot water to come...

Looks like its getting painted and the feont garden looks like its being cleaned up. So possibly there fixing it up. There bits of wood everywhere. Bins overflowing. Paint everywhere. Inside isnt too bad....

Checked in. Saw the room... filthy, smelly, poorly maintained, insects nesting on the ceiling, the list is endless... pure horror... spent 5 minutes in the room and left. Absolutely disgusting. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

We stayed for one night as we were going to the penguin parade. To be honest we were a little frightened when we turned up cause from the outside it is run down and very old. The rooms are also outdated but has everything you need to be comfortable. Wouldn't stay more than a night. Also our bed had a...

Stayed for a function at the hotel. The rooms are what you would expect for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and how comfortable the beds were. The staff were also extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. Would stay there again!

The location is great and the spa bath is definitely the star here, apart from that, this hotel should be classified as motel, everything is very old amd outdated, I found spider on the bed, carpet is dirty and the sofa bed mattress is very thin. Breakfast is very complimentary but very basic, toast , cereals and fruits from the...

Please be aware that during peak times most places on Phillip Island will want minimum stays from 2 to some 5 nights. This was an exception for mid January and we were pleasantly surprised, they openly said it was pub style accommodation but it was clean. The staff were very good a nice basic continental breakfast and for this type...
