Anne was very welcoming and is rightly proud of the mill and it's "country house"charm. The "chimney house"where I stayed is on two floors, both of which are tastefully appointed, with welcoming port and cheese. Breakfast eaten in the room was equally delicious. The local restaurant "Red"is about 10 mins by car and serves excellant food and is to be recommended. Anne...

My wife and I loved this place. Anne is a joy and made us so welcome, the place was spotless; the log fire restored the romance; the bed and linen were immaculate and wonderful to sleep in after a month in our motorhome and oh the breakfast with fresh local incredients. Cannot recommend this place highly enough as a B...

I couldn't let this opportunity go by, to be able to share with others the most wonderful time my friend and I had at Bowerbank Mill. I want the world to know that these magnificent old Historic buildings still exist there in Tasmania and you can actually stay overnight, and immerse youself in history of our great Country. Those blue...

I stayed with my husband and two children at the Bowerbank Mill B&B for 5 days and loved it. The owner Anne was delightful and offered us a really lovely stay. Travelling with children is difficult but the Bowerbank B&B made it a breeze. The cottage we stayed in was fabulous with all the amenities that we needed included toys...

We loved her home made treats and the accomodation itself is very unique. It made for a very memorable stay for the whole team. Thank you Anne for being such a...

I am so surprised at the review left by MatildasRanelagh...our stay at Bowerbank Mill was brilliant, one of our favourite B&B destinations in Tasmania. We are also in the hospitality industry and are seasoned travelers and our stay in 'The Chimney Room' was just wonderful. Ann was so very friendly and made us feel very welcome after a full day...

I keep reading all of the reviews that have been given here on this establishment, phrases like "Best B&B we've ever been to" and words like "luxury" and "opulence" and can come to two possible conclusions - that the reviewers have either not really experienced quality, up-market accommodation or that we happened to come to Bowerbank at a really, really...

I had an overnight stay at Bowerbank Mill and was thrilled with the beautiful Chimney Cottage. Very cosy and intimate, and beautifullly furnished. Anne was a friendly hostess and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast with Anne's homemade condiments. Would definitely come to stay again but would bring my partner next time , it is quite romantic. My partner and I spent one evening at Bowerbank Mill in October 2010. Anne, the owner, made us welcome from the outset and attended to our needs with great warmth, attention and generosity. The open fire against the chill night air; the port and nibbles; the wealth of books and DVD's; the many period nick-nacks; and the amazing breakfast with...
