Stayed in 'motel' style room, bit dated and noise from adjoining rooms,
laundry facilities provide and basic common kitchen a bonus
seemed a high room price for what was on offer compared to other motels during our Tasmania trip.
Room comfortable but basic

A three bedroom bungalow we stayed was spacious enough for six of us, and it was well-equipped. From the balcony, there was a glimpse of ocean view through trees. It is in walking distance to the blowhole as well the shops and restaurants. We had...More
We stayed in the two-storeyed 3 bedroom bungalow, on top of the hill. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The galley styled kitchen and bathroom upstairs was a little bit dated, but the recently renovated bathroom downstairs was lovely.

Hi there is only 1 bathroom, not sure if they have any bungalows with 2? Take a look at their website for the 3-bedroom bungalow. Yes, we drove to Wineglass Bay, less than an hour and didn't join any tour. They do have a cruise which takes you to the bay by boat but quite expensive, I think over AUD200. Please note you have to walk for 1.5 hrs from the car park to the lookout to see the bay. If you want to walk right down to the beach, it takes 4-5 hrs I think, can't remember exactly. There is a sign board at the entrance of the trail telling you the walking distance. Hope this helps.
