what a bargain! The pub is friendly, not too crowded. I went off peak season and paid $40 for a bed in a room with one double bed and one single bed, a fireplace ornate if no longer used, lovely high ceilings and colonial touches with the long verandahs. The people I dealt with there were all friendly, casual and...

Called late Saturday afternoon as an emergency "can't drive any further" stop over. Could not fault this place!!! Explained it was an unintended stop and that we had our baby but no portacot... no problems, there's one here!! Bed was comfy, showers clean and tidy, excellent, well equipped little kitchenette with kettle, toaster, microwave and free tea/coffee. However, they then...

While staying in Kingston SE we were give great advice to eat here. This is a local pup as everyone seemed to know someone and all stopped to say hello. We found the food generous serves and the you can help yourself to beautiful vegies or salads. The staff were very friendly and made you feel very welcome.

Travelling back home we needed a place to stay overnight , and with most places booked out or requiring minimum stays that time of year our options were limited. So thankfully we found the crown inn hotel in kingston. The rooms r upstairs in an old pub. When we arrived the bistro downstairs was full and a little bit noisy...

The service received was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable and large. There was heating and a ceiling fan. An air conditioner wasn't fitted in the room, being winter didn't make difference and especially for the price couldn't be expected. It was supposed to be $40 per night, but the guy couldn't see the price list for the differing rooms...

Four of us came here for dinner and enjoyed a meal of fresh flathead fillets, steak, and chicken. Good gluten free options, and helpful advice. The servings were generous, and the quality was top class. There is a vegetable and salad bar, which was well stocked with fresh food, and the prices were very reasonable. We will return!

Visiting Kingston on the occasion of a mate's funeral. Got a great double room for only $40. It was clean, comfortable and had a digital TV. Showers down the hallway were brilliant. Somewhat dated but great pressure and heat. Drink prices were very reasonable and the meals were inexpensive and generous in size. Even though I was a stranger, Michael...
