A rebuilt actual dairy. We (family of four( stayed int he Workers cottage. Fully redone but made to look rustic. Well appointed rooms and kitchen etc. Wi-fi was out but that was due to work being done in the area nt the management. Very pleasant staff and easy access to blue mountain attractions

We stayed in the Studio - it has the appearance of a tin shed from the outside, but is fitted out nicely inside with quirky re-purposed furniture (e.g. The kitchen sink is an old soup tureen) inside. The bed was large, but there isn't that much storage space so we just left our suitcases open on the floor - fine...

We had a very comfortable 2 night stay here which was lovely but long enough. Very clean, quirky and stylish. Buttercup Barn was well equipped and the BBQ used both nights! Lovely setting, didn't use the hot tub as it was too close to other accommodation. Would have liked comfier chairs/loungers to use outside. A great change from hotels. The...

Throughout my 2 weeks road trip in Australia, 1 accommodation stays on my mind. And that is the Buttercup Barn at Old Leury Dairy. For a city dweller in Singapore, the stay here is certainly all the more memorable. For the 1st time ever, I get to lit the wood-fire place, which was a real treat (and that is after...

The Old Dairy buildings have been renovated using recycled materials. We stayed in the Studio for two nights. It is fairly small and has the appearance of an old shed. It lacks storage space for clothes. There is a fridge and a microwave. Would have liked a comfier chair to sit on. Claw foot bath but while everywhere was clean...

Our family of 22 stayed at Old Leura Dairy last week for a special family celebration. From the moment we made our initial enquiries 10 months ago until we left, they have been enormously helpful, particularly Jo- so thank you for that. We had the Straw Bale house for two families, then the workers cottage for one of 6, Moo...

This is not your generic chain hotel. Imagine a friend invites you to stay at their country home. They have renovated an old agricultural building with a modern kitchen, and relatively modern bath. The owners are environmentally aware, so there is a lot of re-use and recycling going on. You will be encouraged to compost your food scraps. If this...

The owners appear to have turned 5 former dairy buildings into self catering units using an extraordinarily high proportion of recycled materials and furnishings. We stayed in what we found to be the inadequately small STUDIO for 2 people and our review relates only to that unit. Whilst the recycling is commendable, we felt the result would appeal to younger...

It was our girls reunion weekend so the 8 of us stayed in the Straw Bale house. The kitchen was fully equipped ie. coffee maker, huge fridge, all necessary appliances. There was even a laundry. The lounge and dining area held us all comfortably and the fire made the place so cozy. The beds were comfortable and had great view...

Blimey. Booked by my wife so I was shocked as we walked up to see a cow shed. She had the last laugh as we opened door as it is fantastic. Very rustic and well designed. Our first job was to light the fire. The second was to sit in hot tub just up a path. We returned to a...
