I visited for a conference in March. I have stayed here many years ago - it’s a great property, in a terrific location with such promise. I stayed in the Jamison wing on level 4. On a positive note, the room was a good size and the soft furnishings were in good condition.

Lovely retreat with views, and anything else you may like. Great resort for families as there are a lot of activities for all ages. Close to Three Sisters, and the Skyway and Cable cars. Very friendly staff.

Recently stayed two nights and were very impressed. Very comfortable and well appointed rooms, great restaurants and a location that puts you right in the Blue Mountains but also close to Leura which we walked up to on the first morning for a lazy brunch and a browse through the

This is a brilliant hotel for the family depending how old the kids are. There is a merry go round and train ride around the resort. There is games rooms, mirror maze, arcade room, kids cage climbing, heated swimming pool. There are pony rides too. Cinema screening shows. You can even request board games to take to your room. Some rides may require a fee. There may be a lot of kids during school holidays.

Totally family friendly.... staff are great with kids. Lots to go do in the local area but at the resort itself they have things organized. Games, petting animals etc for memory. Our visit was without children so didn’t really pay much attention but hubby and I both agreed it was worth a return visit to bring the kids

Hi Lisa, Taxi would be the best way and I saw some when I was in Leura village which is close to the train station. It is too far to walk, no proper footpath and it is not all flat terrain; so it will be difficult if you go on foot.

Catch the train from the airport to Central Station, then change for a Blue Mountains Train. Get off at Leura and either catch a tourist Trolley bus or a taxi - cheaper way than direct airport transfers.
