Right in the middle of Katoomba. Welcoming, old world hostel. Great kitchen facilities. The family room was good, and had all we needed. A very popular hostel so it can get crowded. Lots of exchanges about where to go in the Blue Mountains and what to do. Close to supermarkets.

Excellent value, very clean and comfortable beds.Noisy but there are large groups and many children running around,so this is to be expected but by 10pm most people were asleep.Very helpful staff on reception, also the kitchen had everything you needed. Would definitely stay here again as it's located in the town close to all the sights.

Stayed for three nights in June. The stay was just about perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. It was very warm although it was cold outside. Wifi worked very well. I would highly recommend this hostel when in the Blue Mountains.

I made a mistake in making the booking and we arrived one after the day we booked. Luckily the receptionist made no problem with this, and we could stay there one night . Personal in the hostel were really nice with us, and explained us all the spots to go around blue mountains. Our experience there was totally different because...

We got an en-suite so it was comfortable. Looks like a good place for groups...the communal areas were quite cool and conducive for chatting and hanging out with other travellers. If you're going bush hiking, you can borrow a tracking devices for free. Lots of information for travellers wanting to plan activities during your stay in Katoomba. We walked to...

If you're on a budget and want somewhere clean, cheap and within good walking distance from everything then stay here. Well appointed kitchen and rooms. The YHA also has a TV room with DVDs and a nice exchange library where you can borrow and swap books. Love the open fire in the lounge area - especially at night where can...

Cosy, well equipped, well staffed & clean. Best hostel in the region. Extended my stay by 3 weeks, I enjoyed it so much. Ideal hostel for families & the elderly too. I will definitely be back someday. Everyone friendly & respectful.

Very disappointed as there are many good reviews had been wrote by others. I had booked for a 4 bed dorm, but the tiny room is added one more bed inside at the small sidewalk of room. The lamp of the room is broken that you can only use your own bed lamp and live in a dark room. The...

Fantastic place to stay when visiting Katoomba and the Blue Mountains. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beds comfortable and bathrooms very clean. We had a private family room and they even supplied tea and coffee. Kitchens are huge and clean with modern facilities. Finally, the other travellers you meet at a YHA always provide some interesting conversation. Definitely recommend it.

One of the nicest YHA's I've stayed in. The facilities are very nice, bathrooms really clean, very large, clean kitchen. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful when I asked for recommendations around the area. Great location too.. On the Main Street in Katoomba, with a grocery store right next door and a 5-10 minute walk to the train...
