Although this is an old hotel and we normally stay in modern places we were pleasantly surprised by our stay here. We chose a king size bed room which was a good size room and the little 70's adjoining bathroom was adequate. The hot water stayed hot and although we heard a lot of plumbing noise from the adjoining room...

A table of 14 of my friends had dinner here for a Host A Murder party. Unfortunately all the meals were pretty average and 5 of the beef wellingtons were sent back because they were cold and blue cuts of steak inside the pastry. I politely complained that they were too undercooked and couldn't be eaten and the owner took...

Friendly staff but room not very clean. Big pile of hair (not mine) in bottom of shower was not a good start. Toilet seat broken, dirty mirror in bathroom. I kept thongs on my feet in the room. General air of neglect upstairs - peeling wall paper, damaged walls. Location of hotel was handy to Katoomba but I wished I...

The price was very economical, close to Katoomba RSL, breakfast was nice and included in price, 2 ladies at reception very helpful and accommodating. BUT hotel room - many many steps - difficult for mobility challenged guests - there were a couple of rooms that maybe suitable for these guests - but i think you would have to ask. 3...

Was surprised on my 1st step into the premises. Greeted by old English style of furniture in the common area with board games and a pool table. The common area was such a photo spot that we spent 30 mins posing around. There is a small bar area which opens till 10pm. But they are quite accommodating when there are...

The place is old but it's meant to be. It's an old style hotel not a pub. It has sitting rooms and big old comfy chairs. There is a bar but only a small focus. The rooms are old but clean and in good repair. Don't expect flash and you will get good value. Breakfast is included in your rate...

We stayed at Hotel Blue for one night as part of a girls getaway trip to the Blue Mountains. As we booked last minute it was one of the only places with remaining vacancies. After our short stay, we could see why! The receptionist was very friendly and helpful with advice about katoomba. However, the hotel is very out dated...

I have been to Katoomba before and I accept you take a step back in time as the overall area is quaint, however, we were bitterly disappointed. When I booked I did think as it was a conference hotel and companies would be using it, there would be a degree of efficiency. The young lady on reception was very efficient...

booked into this hotel on our way from Canberra to Sydney. In relation to other accommodation in the Blue Mountains this hotel was cheap. breakfast was included in the price. The rooms were typical old hotel rooms with an ensuite added. They were clean and tidy. We were there on a Friday night and were lucky enough to have entertainment...
