Detailed Reviews
We stayed in one of the dog friendly cabins during Oct 2020 school holidays and it was the first time we had taken our dog on holidays with us. The cabin was lovely and clean and the beds were comfortable. The lounge could be more comfortable but we didn’t spend that much time sitting on it anyway. The pool area was great and the kids entertained themselves for hours in there. We had our bikes with us and Smuggles Cove location is a very easy ride into town. We were all wishing we had booked a longer stay as we didn’t want to come home. Very much looking forward to our next visit 😁🙏🏼

Excellent cabins. If your expecting the ritz dont be, they are kid friendly cabins and some are pet friendly. We always go with pet friendly cabins. They are clean tidy and have everything you need.
Pools kept nice and grounds are maintained. You can fish behind the park.
Famous tractor rides 50c per person. They are fun even for the adults.
Remeber your bikes and helmets as they are strict on helmets. Highly recommend. We will be back

A wonderful family friendly stay. The kids loved the pools, playgrounds, arcade, jumping castle and the highlight was the tractor train ride.
Close to supermarkets and a short drive to the town centre.
Absolutely no faults, cant wait for the family to return

things are not as they look on the official photos. we had a 2 bedroom cabin, room was that small that I had to walk sideways to get into my bed
mattress was well and truly past used time I woke up with very sore back and barely could sleep.
The walls were that thin I could hear my son breathing in the bedroom next door, any sudden move and the wall might break.
shower was very small and slippery . In the kitchenette the hot water tap fell off.
Floors are of poor quality and has dents in it.
The couch was nearly going to pieces when sitting on, I used my own chair from home. The whole unit needs to be refurbished.
For the whole week we only had one towel each it cost extra money if you wanted an other towel.
It was very noisy during our stay, I will never get back there again
I had a lot of trouble with staff there, got charged double for my pre paid booking, and staff refused to pay the full overcharged amount back, had to get the manager to get things sorted out.

Cabin was dirty the signs say’s luxury cabins far from they are outdated with no room, showers are ok for children but only at shoulder on average size adult. Spiders on bunk bed and main bedroom child had to sleep on lounge. Air conditioning sub standard took over 6 hours to cool cabin heard this from numerous people staying. Has lots of potential just needs some TLC

I booked two nights, and had to pay in advance….but will leave as soon as it is
daylight and I can repack the car. Forget the money…If I had the choice, I would drive
away right now. Absolutely revolting!
Sign says ‘Luxury cabins’. LOL….total rubbish….really, just an outright lie!
Cabins are VERY VERY SMALL with yukky old 1960s blue vinyl furniture. Bathrooms
reek of Detol and the smell fills the cabin. Park is noisy and offers NO wifi…..
SO unhappy.

+1
Over priced & sub standard accommodation. The cabins are so small & inadequate. The shower was soooo small & the water went cold after 5 mins. The park is very noisy & needs a major upgrade. New cabins are needed. We won't stay here again & $200 a night is an absolute joke for the state of the cabin.

The place is a bit run down, is in need of some TLC. The cabin steps we were in had dry rot & could easily break.if under too much pressure. The cabin was neat & tidy in it's self. Would b a great place for families with children I suppose the business has been effected by the past 12months

Would seriously look at other places in the area after staying at this run down "concentration camp". Compared to other parks this one is highly overpriced for dirty , rundown amenities, roads with potholes and poor drainage in the wet. Required to wear arm bands and must be in bed by 10pm or a security guard gives a stern talking to! The amount of money paid should not require you to go to bed by a certain time! After 11 years visiting this park I think it's definitely time to look elsewhere!

I've been coming to Smugglers for some 20 yrs plus,
LIKES The pools, new playground, kid activities are all great, a fantastic park for the kids. DISLIKES getting run down & dirty, old play equipment not maintaned, bins are filthy, loungers around pools all broken taddy and covered in BAT POO, around permanent vans are unmowed.. The introduction of wrist bands which is another charge, the food at Peglegs (Terrible), the whole vibe of the park has changed.
I saw and heard some appalling behaviour from new Mananger Sharon from being very abrupt with kids who lost wrist bands, confrontations with clientele and abusing staff infront of clients she even throw a hamburger at the cook on night at Peglegs. SHAME SHAME
