This was a great place to stay with beautiful spacious rooms with glorious bathrooms. There was a lovely guest lounge and all things you could need in a kitchen. It is a must stay place if you are heading to Queenstown.

My Lyell Anchorage is definitely the home away from home you want to stay in. Decorated in a tasteful manner, the rooms are spotlessly clean, the beds are comfortable and everything you need is provided for. Our host, Joy, was always readily available on the phone or in person if we had any questions about the area or additional requirements....

Joy went overboard to help with accommodating our children, even though it was a very busy weekend for her. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfast. The house was warm and cosy. The bed was very comfortable. We had a delightful visit.

This is a great guesthouse. The building has been renovated with great attention to detail. It was a cold night so the fire in the living room was put on for our comfort. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a good breakfast. The bed is very comfortable with quality sheets & bedding. There is a nice big double...

A hidden treasure on the West Coast. We had accommodation for three of us but there is accommodation for more or B & B also. Joy has done a great job renovating the house and attached houses. The house is old world with modern luxuries and Tassie timbers on their best display. We were in a house suitable for 2...

I had planned to come to Queenstown for a little insight on what the west coast was all about. As it was winter (and I fear the cold) i wanted to treat myself to something i could feel cosy whilst also quite central. I was blown away at how comfortable you feel as you enter what looks like quite a...

We stayed here for one night on our way to Hobart and loved it. It was the most comfortable bed that we slept in on our two week trip around Tasmania. The cottage we stayed in did not have cooking facilities, but Joy did provide an electric frypan to cook breakfast in. The cottage had a real homely feel and...

Stayed in the Waratah cottage and it had everything we needed and more. Couldn't believe how good it was for the price. Had everything from Fresh juice to fresh bread, tea and coffee, cereals and more. The owner was extremely lovely and helpful. Will definitely be back next time we come to the west coast. Highly recommend
