My 14 year old daughter and myself stayed for a week whilst we explored the area. Coming from WA, we left it to the 2nd week of the school holidays over here, know that the east coast would be back at school by the time we arrive. From the friendly, helpful staff in reception, to the clean, well appointed apartment...

This is my second stay here, the front desk were very welcoming as were the text messages I received which was a lovely touch. The rooms are getting quite old, but were clean. Only major issue was the noise! I could hear the neighbours with all doors and windows closed, and the washing machine sounded like it was in my...

Our studio was on the 5th floor so we had a great view & no issues with noise. Got a good deal through Booking.com so was happy with the price. Loved the spa with the ocean view! Room is quite small but has everything you need. Fine for a couple of nights, but I wouldn't recommend the studio if you're...

I have been blessed to have travelled a fair bit, and have never met anyone as rude and as obnoxious as the male owner of the place (the Lady owner, who was witness to his uncouth behavior, was lovely). In a nutshell he pretty much jumped on us as soon as we parked - asking if we were from the...

We have stayed here before and the Managers remembered so made us feel very welcome. The units all have a great view fully selfcontained with an easy walk to town. Theres a restaurant on the resort if you wish to dine also. Very clean inside and around the pool barbecue area.

I was very excited about staying at Whitsunday Vista Resort, expecting a touch of luxury. The reality was a tiny cramped room with a tiny cramped balcony and a very unusual bathroom set up. Yes there was a spa overlooking the bay, but it also doubled as the shower. I am a rather short person, and I felt tall standing...

Booked in for 2 nights thinking I was booking what was in the pictures...couldn't have been more wrong! Our spa suite was an average sized bathtub in the bathroom with no windows, our "Seaview" window looked into the neighbours lounge area and our balcony overlooked the next hotels pool area. The room was so small, especially the bedroom!!!! And the...

Basically the place was outdated and over priced. The beds were very saggy too. My partner and I were booked in for 4 nights but we ended up only staying one night and cancelling the rest and staying somewhere else. For $175 a night I would have expected something better. It would have been acceptable for more around the $100/night...

My 2 year old daughter and I came at the end of june for a wedding. Upon I arrival I was told that the lift wasnt working. Which turned out to be an actual nightmare. Having no car and pushing a stoller everywhere around airlie beach only to have to drag the stroller up 2 flights of stairs 3-4 times...

The room was fine, especially with the cheaper rate through Wotif. The view is, as others have said, overlooking a building site on the wharf area. The position of the apartment is okay, only a short walk to the shops etc. It was OK for a night though I wouldn't want to stay much longer.
