Very relaxing and quite, except for the sound of the wildlife, the tented cabins were very comfortable and had everything one could need, yet you are in the wilderness. Meals were all good. The walk to the Gorge is great but could be difficult for some but well worth the effort. Very important to take notice of the signs as...

My girlfriend and I just spent 3 nights at the Gorge. We stayed in a tented cabin which was perfect for staying in the outback. It's far better than a tent, it's pretty much just like a cabin but with the ability to have some breeze come through. It does get very hot however. You do end up living on...

El Questro and Emma Gorge offer breathtaking scenery and surroundings. Plenty to keep active and adventurous visitors happy. Very comfortable accommodation though not glamourous. Great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. One visit is not enough.

Emma Gorge Resort is one of three places to stay at El Questro Wilderness Park. It's the middle of the range, with the 5 star 'Homestead' being at the top, and 'The Station' offering camping facilities and some lovely cabins (these are 45-60 minutes further away). For me, Emma Gorge is a brilliant place to stay as it is the...

Fantastic stay in the tented cabins! lots to do In the area - Emma gorge was a little challenging in places but if you take your time & do first thing before the heat - well worth it - will be visiting again. Various choices of tours from station. Food was reasonably priced and the staff cheerful and accommodating -...

Emma Gorge is amazing but so too is El Questro in general and what it has to offer. It is a bit of a trek (by foot) up to Emma Gorge but once up there, you have a choice of two swimming holes. We were lucky enough to share it with one other. Zebedee Springs is also worth a look...
