We came up to las terrenas from punta cana. Google was giving us the wrong directions on where fata was located so we called them up. It was 8pm and they still answered and in English! Instead of just explain the route, the owner Edith had her son come to us and we followed him back! She set us three...

The actual space itself is basic and clean. There was warm water which was very appreciated. We loved having access to the kitchen, access to unlimited drinking water was very generous of her. Best part about it was the beautiful plants and flowers and just how private, peaceful and beautiful it was. This property is on the rustic side so...

If you are looking for an affordable, clean, comfortable, quiet and green place to stay in Las Terrenas, check out Fata Morgana! Edith has a lovely setup, consisting of numerous small units all with their own bathroom (and wonderful hot water showers!). The fully equipped kitchen served us well and there was no shortage of parking space for our truck....

This little guesthouse is like a fairytale, so much green and flowers and cute little cottages. The relaxing sound of animals all around, together with the company of owner Edit's sweet dogs and donkeys made me feel at home!! Lying in the hammock on the porch every day, enjoying the scenery and the small lizards playing and jumping around was...

Edith the owner is very friendly, and you can ask reference about the tours, area, activities, beaches, facilities... The room, the...

This is one of my favourite places in the Dominican Republic. The rooms are excellent and I really like it that there is a shared kitchen for all the guests together so you always have people to cook and/or eat with! Edit is an awesome person who makes you feel at home, and knows the area expertly. She speaks multiple...

Great place to stay, the garden and the welcome you receive from Edith indeed feels like a real fata morgana! Moreover, it's nearby playa bonita and playa coson, which are the nicest beaches we saw in the DR!

My hubby and I stayed here when we were dating and had a lovely time. Edit, the owner, was very accommodating and helped us organize a whale watching trip while we were there for 5 nights. She also shared with us the best local beach and bakery for hot baguettes. It was a trip I will never forget.
