We came to acaya for a lunch at their restaurant. We had the worst service possible, long wait, terrible waiters, mediocre food and to top it all, overpriced. I would never come back here again. Despite nice location and beautiful setting, management is disorganized and there is no customer service which makes the location underwhelming.

I had a meeting in acaya with a friend for a lunch. I had The chance to find sweet playas all around The hotel. After some bath, I had lunch there. The french style is giving a good profile to The place, even though some details are missing, like cushions on The hard wood chairs. The decoration is very nice...

Acaya is a great hotel with a great restaurant. It is directly at the best surf beach of Las Terrenas only a few steps away from the ocean. Guillaume makes you feel at home and is generous and caring all the time. The food was delicious and at great price. The rooms are simple, but beautiful and clean. All in...

It's all about spending times out doors. The rooms a pretty basic with no internet or TV, you are forced to disconnect. (Wifi available only in restaurant area) It's all about the beautiful ocean view from the balconies and spending time in the beach. YOu can hear the ocean as you sleep. (take plenty of insect repellant) There is no...

The days of surf-bum chic are long gone at hotel acaya. We fled this place after we were eaten alive by bedbugs and mosquitos. The rooms were dirty (hairs in the sheets, grime and sticky dust on every surface, spiders and webs in the corners, a white ceiling fan over the bed coated in black dirt). Everything in the room...

Location on a beautiful beach is the main feature of the hotel. The rooms are spacious but look a little bit empty. The rooms are very basic with very primitive bathroom that is almost a part of the bedroom The staff is very accommodating and moved us from one room to another (we needed different kind of bed). Breakfast is...

This is a charming hotel that works on island time, and if you are willing to surrender to that rhythm and enjoy the beauty of the beach on its front steps, then this is the right place. Ask for the best rooms, as the cheaper ones would suit undemanding students and be just find for the surfers who will come...

We spend one night at the Hotel Acaya in Las Terrenas, part of our Caribbean trek in a small aircraft. The hotel is simple but very nice, the rooms are OK, clean and everything works. Very friendly, relaxed service. We had lunch at the hotel and it was good. The surroundings are outstanding and it was worthwhile the stop over...
