Me and my boyfriend stayed at las cayenas for 9 nights and we loved it. The staff were very nice and friendly, and made us feel welcome. Nice location close to the beach were you can by drinks and lunch (not dinner), the restaurant area is a ten minute walk away. Lovely big complimentary breakfast. Perfect for a nice calm... More

I started to visit Las Cayenas in 2002 and returned every year for 5 years. Marie Antoinette, my friend, built it and ran it for 15 years and a beautiful young man purchased it and has improve it immensely. Although Marie always maintained it in perfect condition Kanesh has made it much more comfortable for visitors. I recommend you visit... More

We spent a week in the DR in August, 2008. Our stay at Las Cayenas was a highlight of the trip. Admittedly, we'd been staying in cheaper places (under $30 USD a night), so the cost at Las Cayenas was a bit above the truly budget places we'd gotten used to. As a result, the crisp cleanness of the rooms,... More

We spent a heaven-sent four days here and we feel blessed to have seen this Old World hotel at its peak before the commercialized eurochaos of Las Terrenas engulfs it. Book now!!! Las Terrenas is a wonderful place to vacation, with fabulous food and as... More

My wife and I have been to Las Terranas 12 times and we keep going back. The Las Cayanas Hotel Owned & Operated by Marie is the best and least expensive hotel in Las Terranas. This is by far the greatest place on God's earth. This is the place to get away from all the hustle and bustle of regular... More

A traditional hotel set back, but with full view of beach and ocean. Palm trees, large veranda reminiscent of "Out of Africa." Not a modern place, no phones in rooms. Quiet, peaceful, friendly. Nice breakfast served on veranda. Balconies. Solar electric and hot water used, which is eco-wise although water flow at shower not great, but adequate. Onsite, an Italian-run... More
