I was here for a training course for a couple of days. It's easy enough to get to - a £5 taxi ride from Guiseley station, which is itself only 14 minutes from Leeds. I rang the hotel and they organised a taxi (SJK) to pick me up. The staff are friendly and helpful, the young man Ben in the...

3 nights at this hotel confirmed the hotel is a fast fading property and business. Dining staff need to show more care for guests and energy. Management need to make sure all food on menus is available - all 3 days several choices on breakfast menu were unavailable. Swimming pool is a plus at 20 m with excellent changing facilities....

Dear Guest Thank you for posting a review further to your stay with us here at Hollins Hall Marriott Hotel & Country Club. I am sorry to read that the food quality and selection at breakfast failed to meet your expectations. We believe our breakfast offering to be the most important meal period of the day which clearly was not...

While visiting Skipton and Harrogate we decided to treat ourselves to an overnight stop at this hotel just before Christmas. As you drive up to the hotel it looks very impressive and can imagine many wedding taking place here during the summer months as the grounds are very picturesque. We had a friendly greeting and as there was 3 of...

We stayed at the hotel last month and loved the experience. We had access to the pool and gym facilities until late, the food was good in the restaurant and the room was lovely. The grounds are beautiful and although it was freezing, we went on a walk to the viaduct which was gorgeous! The staff were lovely and friendly...

Stay at the hotel Friday to Sunday with my other half, the hotel is lovely and our room was very spacious and clean with a nice comfy bed, only complaint was could do with a few more pillows and more tea/coffee, only got one of each and one tub of milk. Both the Zest Bar and Heathcliffe restaurant served excellent...

Return trip two years on with family. Surprised and disappointed to see no improvements made. Rooms okay (dated), soundproofing nonexistent, temperature (air con/heating) uncontrollable! Zest rest/bar okay but ridiculously overpriced to facilitate the 35% reduction afforded gym/spa members. Service pretty perfunctory, with very little grace. Surely West Yorkshire must be able to offer something better than this distinctly ordinary venue.

I echo the negative comments of many other recent contributors. This hotel is in serious need of modernization. For example, almost every single external window needs to be replaced or refurbished and the interior décor is very dated. It is appears very little maintenance has have undertaken since the majestic old house was converted and extended. Now a neglected cash...

A lovely picturesque hotel & spa. A great change of scenery to the usual hum drum of city business hotels. I work in London and had a meeting in the outskirts of Leeds so needed a hotel for a night. I had moaned to our travel PA that the last few hotels had been very poor, so she redeemed herself...

I stayed at this hotel on the 3rd December as I'd driven up to Leeds (from Berkshire) to see Placebo. I have to say, from the outside the hotel is beautiful, however from the inside it is pretty standard - nothing special. I certainly wouldn't pay £120 per night to stay here, however cashed in on a free hotels.com stay...

I can't say the welcome committtee was the top notch I am used to at say the Renaissance, for a Marriott it definitely was lacking, especially in the not so red carpet arena. A bit dinghy overall, could do with an update. Got woken by drunken parties a couple nights. However wait staff always friendly and housekeeping girls were the...
