Stayed here for 3 nights after the long weekend. It was quiet with little occupancy in the campsites. The showers and washrooms are well kept and clean. The grounds areas as well. We stayed in campsite #1 (power and water) which had some gravel to provide a somewhat level surface for RV. Had our own dock, which looked recently new.... More

Thank you for the comprehensive review. You spent your time at the resort enjoying what we have to offer in terms of the nature walks and lake activities. Sadly the weather for your stay was not calm and sunny. However you made the best of it. You did a thorough breakdown on our entire campground and we note that you... More

We have been coming to Blue Lake for the past nine years, consecutively, for the same weekend every year. This year, we booked early, as usual, but was unable to make it out last minute. Was told our $500 deposit could be used towards another time this summer. We called and called and messaged and messaged to book for another... More

As you mentioned in your review this issue came about from a last minute cancellation of your reservation. You were informed that, as per our cancellation policy, if we were able to book out the dates you cancelled we could apply your deposit to a future stay. We were not able fill the booking and so the deposit was forfeit.... More

Our family has had the privilege of camping at Blue Lake for the last few years and we will definitely be going back for year's to come. It's nestled in at the top of the mountain between Boston Bar and Lytton where nobody can see it from the highway. It's absolutely beautiful with a clean warm swimming and fishing lake... More

I am a frequent camper and seldom right reviews but felt compelled to write one on Blue Lake Resort. The good and the bad of my groups experience this past weekend. The good – lake was warm and the kids enjoyed it. The bad – Camp sites are tiny, offering little if any privacy (might as well camp in the... More

We had a busy weekend for our resort.  Luckily the weather was fantastic and all of our sites were filled with happy campers.  It is midweek now and we have a much less busy resort, and that allows us to rejuvenate as well.  When you first arrived and settled into your site I was greeted by you.  Your site is... We were lucky with the good weather and the lake temperature was perfect for swimming! Great to get a lakeside spot with private dock to sit on and watch the kids swimming or playing on the docks tied up in the middle of the lake or have coffee and breakfast while taking in the beautiful lake! The hike up to... More

What a wonderful place for a family camping trip! We arrived Friday of the long weekend. We were supposed to stay until tomorrow, but unfortunately I was called in to work so had to leave a day early. The staff and management are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make it fun for the visitors. The kids... More

We stayed last week and had an amazing time, would not change a thing. We stayed in cabin 3 which was perfect for a romantic getaway. We were able to enjoy the beautiful lake and hiking trails. Already trying to plan another trip there and bring friends and family with us.

Our stay at blue lake resort was not at all what we expected based on the website. 1. The camp sites are on the small side 2. Many unsightly seasonal/permanent camps set up 3. Discusting, scary youth centre 4. Dirty bathrooms, in-properly bolted toilet in the women's washroom 5.very old, run down, dirty shower facilities. Some stalls have no hooks,... More

If we are more organized in the future making reservations earlier in the year we would go every summer. Dirt biking trails for the boys and lake side relaxing for mom was a divine combination! Cabin 1 was pretty basic but had all that we needed except linens. Note to those that think linens are just sheets. No bring pillows... More

Thank you very much for your review. We are very happy with the variety of activities that the kids can participate in. We are all about making vacations easier for mom.
