Pros: ocean view was lovely, nice location away from the main Coolum strip of apartments/hotels, good parking, large balcony, helpful staff. Cons: really simple amenities, ocean view ruined by constant traffic on David Low Way, no fan or airflow through 1bd apt, air con in inadequate position to cool bedroom, small tv. Overall I'd give 3.5 if I could.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We agree that the views are outstanding throughout The Point. You stayed in our Coral Seas which are closer to the ocean and benefit from large east facing balconies. The David Low Way runs between all Coolum's main resorts and the coastline and beaches. I'm really sorry that you felt the...

The Point is very well located and has great views from most rooms. The décor is a little dated but the size of the rooms and villas and the associated facilities is very good. The resort is also very well managed - shortly after check-in we had some very noisy people above us and the management handled the situation very...

Thanks for taking the time to review The Point. We understand that sometimes after a long journey, noises that might ordinarily not be a problem seem a hundred times louder when your tired! I hope you managed to get some well earned rest. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

The Point is in a wonderful location away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for all the local facilities. Spotlessly clean and very spacious apartments. Great views from the balcony where we enjoyed watching the whales. Very minor negative comments-interior of apartments looking a little worn in places and we consistently lost the signal on the TV. Apart...

Thank you for your lovely review. We really appreciate hearing your opinions. We're really lucky to have the position we have on the coastline. It affords us such fantastic panoramic views. I'll also be sure to pass your comments onto our housekeeping team. They work tirelessly to make sure that every apartment is spotless. They'll be thrilled to hear that...

We have just left after staying 2 nights in the 2 brm apartment. The unit was clean, reasonably priced and very pleasant. The pool was sparkling clean and the views to the beach were great. We'll be back but might book one of the higher up apartments to take full advantage of the view. Best suited for couples or families and...

Thanks for your review. We're so glad that you and your family had a lovely time. Throughout the resort we're really fortunate to have such a variety of outlooks over the coast, with every apartment having an ocean view. We'd love to welcome you back and show you a different perspective of the coast line!

A great place to stay! We stayed one night in a 2 bedroom apartment (#38). Well set out for a family, with plenty of space to relax. One criticism - the front door either needs to be able to be deadlocked (so kids can't open it) or it needs a security chain. Our 18 month old was constantly opening the...

Thanks for taking the time to share your comments with us. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay and found our accommodation roomy and comfortable. Thanks too for flagging up your concerns about potential runaway toddlers. Thankfully to date we've not yet had any! Nevertheless, as a consequence we're investigating the installation of safety chains in this particular section of...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of several weeks over winter. We escaped from Auckland and experienced temperatures of 21-22C most days. Staff were very friendly and most helpful. The views from our hilltop villa were magnificent and pleasant coastal walking tracks are situated just across the road from the complex. We definitely expect to visit again at this time of...

We recently stayed two nights at The Point and loved it. I did not want to leave. Quiet, restful and private. Our apartment was very roomy and had eveything and more than we needed. It is 1.5kms to the local cafes and shops. The only thing I could suggest is a new bed. My husband and I found the bed...

Well established and some fittings and appointments are becoming dated. However everything is very well maintained, extremely clean and professionally managed. Just out of Coolum main area and was very private and quiet. Magnificent views (as requested) from split level villa 27. We travel to the Sunshine Coast once a year and will definitely return to The Point.

Thanks for taking the time to share your comments with us. We appreciate the feedback. We agree that the views from The Point are amazing. This is a great well priced apartment complex with panoramic views across Point Arkwright. Check in was quick and easy, apartment very well furnished and view spectacular. Sunrise over the ocean was a highlight and worth waking up for. Great place, very quiet, strongly recommended and we will stay here again.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. The sunrises are simply put, breathtaking. We often feel fortunate to live here and see the sun come up every day. I am so impressed with both the onsite management and the apartment at The Point. Wow! You've just made Jonna blush. I'm thrilled that you had a fabulous time. We're fortunate to have several sections in our resort which allows us to cater to a broad range of guests requirements.
