We loved this hotel. It has gorgeous views. It's an easy stroll to Arrowtown alongside a babbling stream. The room was lovely and comfortable, and the breakfast was tasty. The staff could not be more helpful.

We mostly see our guests when they first arrive, but in your case arrival was heralded by the wonderful sound from that awesome machine. Thanks for your feedback and great to meet the three of you. Hoses, buckets and even blankets gladly provided to tend to tired and weary steeds. We look forward to seeing you back again anytime!

We spent two weeks traveling in NZ with another couple. Arrow Private was our last stop and was the highlight of the trip. Our rooms were really amazing, clean, crisp concrete and glass, simple but extremely well though out with every need anticipated. Tim was away our first evening but we had a delightful welcome drink with Becky who gave...

Thanks for your feedback! It is much appreciated! We throughly enjoyed meeting you all and we are so fortunate to have so many great restaurants such a short walking distance away. The leaves has changed colour significantly since you departed and we are now looking forward to the colour show which is autumn. Come back again on day!!!

Love the concrete simplicity of the room the bed was comfortable the breakfast service is innovative and the bathroom is probably the highlight. The pre arrival communication was excellent. It's a boutique slightly left field experience but worth broadening your horizons on.

Thanks for your insightful comments. Many photos have been taken of the bathrooms to provide ideas for new houses or renovations at home. It is great to hear you enjoyed that aspect of the suite. We we very fortunate to win a NZ Institute of Architects award for the innovative design and we proudly display that in the historic stone...

Oh. My. Goodness. The Arrow is fab...u...lous. Our apartment was beautiful, the result of careful planning, stunning design & skilful engineering that has created a timeless, deceptively simple space. We were totally spoilt - ultra comfortable huge bed, freestanding bath, spacious double shower, fitted walk-in wardrobe, mini kitchen, choice of breakfast delivered to our room, drinks with our hosts upon...

Thanks for your wonderful feedback! We are so pleased you enjoyed the suites and your time here. It is always a pleasure to see the reaction from guests when we show them into the suites with a bath. One of our favorite places to stay in Arrowtown, Tim is great, the accommodation is always top notch and it is centrally located to everything we love to do in the area. This is always our first choice when we are headed to Arrowtown/Queenstown. We love it here!

Our room was amazing beyond words. The open plan bathroom with the modern bathtub alone is what made the experience such a luxurious one. The architectural design of the room was extremely well thought out, with sliding doors to give privacy when needed (E.g. closing up the bathroom, or hiding the kitchenette which was by the way very well stocked...

Had the most amazing time here. Location is fantastic with a stroll through the woods to the cute township. Wonderful award winning architect-designed boutique hotel. Cool layout with open plan bathroom. Tim is so kind makes you feel so welcome. Stayed in the Toi-toi suite with private deck overlooking the wilderness of the river reserve. Magic!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Arrow Private Hotel is an Arrowtown Boutique Hotel just five minutes walk from the centre of Arrowtown. With very contemporary design and styling, the Hotel recently won a prestigious architecture award and guests frequently comment on the attention to detail in the suites. In contrast, a historic stone cottage is the central meeting place at the Hotel. It is used as the reception area and as a house bar for evening refreshments and canapes. The roaring fire is very welcoming on a cold winters evening and many a tale has been told before guests walk into Arrowtown for their evening dinner. The Private Hotel is recognised one of the best Arrowtown B&B's. It operates more like a luxury lodge with each of the suites having its own private access and a hot cooked breakfast is delivered to each suite daily via a secret cupboard. With only 5 suites we are able to provide a very personal and private service . Adventures of all levels are not far away from the Hotel. Walking and cycling trails run right past the base of the Hotel which backs onto Coronet Peak Station. The Arrow Private Hotel is 20 minutes drive from the Coronet Peak ski field, from the Gibbston Wine region and from Queenstown. There are also 3 great golf courses within 5 minutes drive. ... more   less
