We stayed there because it was close to KC but feel it is overprized (camping)! Facilities were filled with bugs and ants that you cannot stand still (only place in Australia I saw such facilities - even the remote places I went facilities were better to use). Next time I would stay at Kings Creek Station if camping.

Great views, great camping, clean facilities, lovely pool....we stayed here two nights in a hired campervan and scored an excellent powered site with spectacular views to the Canyon. We visited at the end of October, which meant the whole area was relatively quiet and we had our pick of the spots. A very relaxed campground too 'If you leave and...

The hiking is amazing, the energy wonderful. Take the time and enjoy this jewel of the red centre. Will leave you with a great memory and not the struggle and cost of Uluru. Its a long way to go, but worth it.

Kings Canyon is a fantastic location with friendly staff and the walks great around the rim where amazing views where around every corner. The camp ground was big and open and the pool was freezing on a hot day.

Enjoyed 4 days and nights camping at Kings Canyon Resort. Plenty of facilities available. Camp kitchen areas, plenty of toilets & showers (old but clean). Pool was an added bonus in the 36deg heat. Staff in shop, bar and reception very helpful and pleasant. Will be back

Went there after peak season, it was very quiet and enjoyable. The view is fantastic, the sunset platform with pop up bar tops it all. However be ready to share with the bugs, millions of ants on the ground and more bugs buzzing around at night time. It is quiet common in the Red Centre but Kings Canyon was particularly...

We stayed here overnight on the way through wen visiting nearby Kings Canyon. We had a fast and friendly check in, and when we found we didn't have a long enough electrical lead, the maintenance manager went out of his way to help us out. The staff are excellent. Be aware though that if you're staying here, the local dingos...

If you’re planning a trip to this part of Australia, you’re pretty much limited on choices. Kings Canyon Resort and Campground is the only facility here. We were in a camper van and spent one night. We had a pleasant stay. The facilities were nice and clean. We had no problems. Considering the remoteness of the location, their prices were...

We arrived late and were tired. The receptionist was rude and way too disrepectful sometimes. Never eager to deliver good information nor a good service. Facilities were ok but nothing great. Also, 20AUD pp a night didn't include wifi or laundry. They take advantage of the situation because they are the only place where to sleep nearby.

Dear Mauricio P The arrival of 8 people so late at night in this remote , outback Australian region , asking for discounts and free camping spots was somewhat of a surprise to our receptionist on duty at 9pm, although no disrespect was given or intended. FREE information is available about Watarrka National Park , the local region and all...

Loved staying here for 3 nights. Plenty of shady sites, close to Kings Canyon and whilst not cheap, reasonable for its remote location. The bathrooms were a bit tired but clean, pool was lovely, laundry facilities were fine. Dinner under the desert moon was just stunning, quite possible the best meal we have had......ever! He rim walk early in the...
