To make things clear: THERE ARE 2 BUILDINGS at Palm Court: THE BACKPACKERS – plus THE MOTEL BUILDING which is adjacent. I’d reserved a couple of nights in the backpacker section before heading out to KATHERINE GORGE to camp. My mistake in the booking saw the nice lady running the place offer me a budget motel room instead – at...

I stayed a few days in a private room with my friend. Car park in front of the room; fridge, microwave, water boiler, and tv in the room. Some spider webs in corners in the rooms. The bathroom is good, don't need more. But the kitchen is bad, a lot of spiders, I've seen a mouse and it's quite dirty....

We were looking for a cheap option in Katherine and this place was ideal for that. The rooms are big, the beds not to bad. Not to sure the last time it was cleaned, opened the fridge to find food and drinks from previous stays. Mugs dirty, toilet dirty, as we were sleeping, paint chips from the walls fell on...

Now a horrible place, cockroaches in the room, cockroch eggs on the floor, dirty bathroom. room looked like it hadn't been swept for a week. Kitchen is small and cramped. Manager is very rude and quite nasty and talks about people when they are in earshot and not in a very nice way either. Stay at the other backpackers if...

Thank you for your comments. Considering you state that you stayed at Palm Court in October however have posted your somewhat far fetched comment in the the last few days brings us to believe, (a) you are an evicted guest or (b) a housekeeping staff member whose services were very recently terminated 5 days ago. Palm Court prides itself on...

Do not go there if you are a backpacker, it's horrible, mold smell, facilities are not clean and the kitchen is discusting. It's really expensive for what we get. We staid only 1 night it's enough! We didn't go to the motel room we can't tell but the kitchen is common, we couldn't even cook we had to go to...

Stayed for 1 night prior to a long drive to Kununurra the following day. We were in a deluxe private room, very basic but had everything necessary for a one night stay. The shower was very good and the room was clean. Lady on reception was very friendly when we checked in. Wi-fi available but there is a charge for...

Cons- Dirty room, fan was covered in dust and grime, filthy fridge, stuffy, holes in roof, opened milk in fridge, toilet base rocked off the floor, poorly done maintenance work, air con cover hanging off.. Pros-Had a bed, tv and shower. All we ask for budget accommodation is something clean and maintained, it wasn’t.
