My first hollidays in Croatia were greate becouse i chose thise Apartment. Big room, lovely room, nice bathroom, greate car park. Superb viev from apartment. Landlord very heapefull. Now about location. Komarna is near border with Bosnia, nera Dubrovnik, near Mostar so perfect for familly hollidays.
Lovely, clean, big apartament with a stunning view from the balcony, equipped in everything that you might need during your stay. The buidling is located in a quiet village, very close to the sea. In the village, there is a nice beach 5 mins away from the apartament, a shop, a bar on the beach and a cafe. Great location for trips to Dubrovnik, Mostar, Neum, Kravica Waterfalls. The owners are very nice and friendly and provide great service. Good value for money! :-)
Villa (and apartments) Dalmatino is/are in a nice location, quiet place, with a sea view, at the northern part of Komarna beach and village. Facilties in the apartment were suitable, although old. The private beach provides quiteness and privacy sometimes, but it is completeley paved in concrete (like the whole beach in Komarna) and very small. Villa Dalmatino seems to have about 15 apartments and/or rooms, while the private beach offers space for 7-8 chairs only that are provided on the beach, but without umbrellas (parasols). The wi-fi did not work during the whole week of our stay. The staff was polite when we asked them, but they gave the impression that they did not like to be contacted from the clients. The Villa has not e real reception and the staff stay in their own room, but it was a kind of challenge to find them available and ask them about any need, even when you ring the bell on their door. I would recommend this Villa for its reasonable price and nice location, but do not expect any standard of the service there.…
This is a newish touristic village. Nothing here is more than 20 years old. The village consists almost entirely of private vacation homes and apartments, most having access to the water. No real shopping nearby; had to drive out to get groceries at a decent price. BUT, our apartment had AC and a balcony with a gorgeous view, the neighbors were all families, and there were two outdoor barbecue areas for guests. Kitchen was well stocked with the usual pans, dishes and utensils , plus salt, washing up liquid, sponge and towels. The managers were a couple of college kids from Zagreb, very nice. The beach was just a large cement block with lounge chairs available first come first served. As the water was quite deep there and we are with kids we swam at the sandy beach in the center of the village. Nice and clean, but the waves got rough in the afternoon. We all had a good time. …
