Old but nice and clean. A Korean manager was always available and nice. All necessaries as a motel were provided. Beds are too soft and towels were not changed everyday. A bit far from the station. Good with a car. 韓国系の方がマネージャーで、親切でした。古いですが、綺麗で広かったです。タオルがかえられていませんでした。駅からは遠いので、車があった方がいいです。
I prefer to go to crusoe's motel....this has been my 4th visit.......Staff are awesome and the room is very clean and tidy. To be honest whenever I have been to crusoe's motel, I never got disappointed....I will be back again. ....
Were happy know that the reception was open till 10am which is really very late for NZ. The hotel is located with all the good supermarkets. The kitchen had all the facilities with even a small dining area. Free wifi and good speed.
Great fast welcome by Daniel.Very clean spacious room.Only drawback the shower had no pressure.Matress could do with an update but all in all an enjoyable hassel free stay.Great location can easly walk to Papakura and the bus north to Manukau city ect is almost outside the motel frontage.Medical centre across the road and quiet dispite being off the Great South Road
We stayed there first in 1990. It was clean, comfortable, and had 2 rooms with excellent wheelchair washrooms/showers. We have been back a few times since, most recently in 2010. The furnishings and colours are exactly the same as they were 20 years previous. Cupboard doors are coming loose on the hinges, carpet is worn, beds feel "old", it's like stepping into an abandoned movie set. The worst for us, is the wheelchair showers have needlessly been ruined. The large open space necessary for a wheelchair user has now had a glass enclosure installed that gives just enough room for a "standing" person. Also, the handheld showerhead has now had the hose clamped and screwed to the wall, making it impossible for a handicapped person to use, even if the could get the chair into the glass box. There is a law requiring a specific mount of wheelchair rooms and Crusoe's had 2 that were perfect. Now they have been rendered utterly useless. We will never be back again unless we hear it has new owners who are doing a complete and major renovation.…
