For camping, this is definitely a good site. When we were here, the place was pretty quiet. The facilities are in good condition, but do feel a bit dated. Cooking options are plenty with a kitchen, outdoor bbq and stone pizza oven. Staff is friendly, and Kiwi are around if you're lucky. Overall, a nice campsite if you're looking for...

No matter if you are renting cabins or just camping, this older Holiday Park is very pleasant. It's not new, but they try and keep it very functional. As this part of NZ has been experiencing drought conditions ( hard to believe with the recent rains) they have closed off half of the bathroom facilities. But we never had to...

Beautiful holiday park right on the lake. We enjoyed the sunset. The managers were extremely helpful and gave us a map and some history of the area. We stayed in a cabin and it was clean and simple but nice.

My wife and I booked an Eco Cabin as part of a mini-tour of Northland. The room is simple with no frills, but quite adequate for an overnight stay. If you were staying longer you'd probably want a bit more space. Relative to the other places we stayed (Coopers Beach and Omapere) we felt the $135/night was a bit on...

Booked this holiday park as quiet, close to Russell and was within our price range. Turned up late due to traffic and rang to let them know. They kept the reception open and greeted us with a smile. We had a large kayak trailer with us and this was no problems which made it stress free for us. It was...

This was our first camping trip with our daughter so we were quite anxious. We had nothing to worry about. The campsite was beautiful! It was very clean and tidy (everything was cleaned daily), it had plenty of kitchen facilities, great bbq areas and a wonderful site for families. She went in the outdoor swimming pool every day too which...

We had a wonderful 4 nights at the camp site. It was quiet, peaceful including all the amenities that you could possibly hope for. Spacious pitches. Welcoming, caring and knowledgeable owners. Easy access to the circular walk leading to Russel. The owners really did their best to make our stay perfect - their kindness and understanding made our stay. We...

We have three kids aged 3 to 8, and really enjoyed the laid back, family orientated feeling of the campground. There was plenty for the kids to do at the site, and all of Russell's beaches and other amenities were a short drive away. Everything was clean and tidy, and the owners were very hospitable and full of good information...
