Staying with Robyn & Kees is like visiting your best friends. Breakfast provides a limitless choice which Robyn is happy to taylor to your needs. The rooms are spotless, comfortable and quiet despite the main road frontage; evenings are spent sharing a drink with fellow guests and hosts in a very friendly atmosphere. Advice and leaflets on local attractions and...

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We have made so many wonderful friends through our Bed & Breakfast - as we say - "you may arrive as strangers but leave as friends" - and it is always sad to say goodbye to such lovely people. Always happy to help with your Nelson itinerary to ensure you get the...

We spent just two nights but these two nights were delightful. Bedroom quiet, comfortable, and pretty. The breakfast feast was not only attractively set out but tasted as good as it looked. The hosts were the kindest and most helpful. The B&B is not close to town but their recommendations of where to eat were great. The Boat Shed was...

Thank you for your wonderful review! Pleased to hear our breakfasts are hitting the spot with our guests - at this time of year there is an abundance of fresh fruit - all ripened by the wonderful South Island sunshine that just continues to provide us with summer! Although our B&B is not situated right in the city, we are...

A wonderful place to stay, warm welcome with spotless and very comfortable rooms. Two delightful areas to sit outside on an evening. The guest lounge has a fridge for keeping the wine cold and lots of useful information about the area. Robin was extremely helpful in making reservations, you must do the trip to The Abel Tasman National Park, the...

Oh such wonderful and kind words! Thank you!! Just doing our best for our lovely guests... and of course breakfast is our point of difference in this lovely piece of Paradise we are fortunate to call home. Yes, the Abel Tasman Park is such a beautiful place and approximately 99.9% of our guests who stay with us do a day...

We are now almost at the end of our NZ trip and it has been superb. Our first B&B experience was at Ambleside and we were fortunate to get rooms (we are 2 couples and need 2 rooms) and unfortunate not to stay longer. There is nothing that I wish to add to the comments about Robyn and Kees. They...

Thank you for a wonderful review and your very kind words. We are indeed humbled by such glowing accolades as we do not ever purport to be amazing, rather just endeavour to treat our guests as we ourselves would like to be treated! Given the extra notes regarding accommodation in general in our peak-season, I feel it is my duty...

Listen up people. I have traveled for the last 46 years and no one, and I mean no one, has ever produced a B&B on this level. Absolutely perfect in every detail. Let me list a few: 1. The warmth and helpfulness of the hosts, Robyn and Kees. They made us immediately feel as part of their family. No question...

Ohhh we are so very humbled by this great review! Thank you for your very kind words! Fairly sure we are not the "best B&B ever" but we just simply do our best - treating others how we would like to be treated. We had to laugh about the adoption papers - we have got a few pending guest adoptions...

We were immediately welcomed by Robyn and Kees who made us feel more like old friends than "customers". Every little detail has been pre thought and there is much love in the breakfasts! Wow. For me it was Gluten free heaven- no fuss- it all just happened. Choices abounded!! The pancakes were to die for Kees. Bed was very comfy...

So easy when guests become your friends! This couple were just that - friendly and caring of us and lovely to Chelsea - our ageing cat! Our point of difference is our breakfast menu, and offering gluten free options is part of that. Always just endeavouring to do our very best for our lovely guests.

I have stayed often at Ambleside over the past three years in coming and going to our bach in the Abel Tasman. Each time is fabulous. Robyn and Keef made us most welcome at their bed and breakfast accommodation. Their home cooking was delicious. They accommodated my allergy for cats by ensuring that theirs did not come anywhere near me. They were most helpful in assisting us to plan our day in the local area. Many thanks for the wonderful review! We do have a cat, Chelsea, who does love to hang out with our guests!
