Warm welcome from Jenny and Nick. We stayed in the Tower suite that was neither damp nor musty with a nice sitting area in the tower. If you want a sterile chain hotel this is not for you but if you like to experience a bit of old Nelson with atmosphere then try Warwick House. Some travellers may find the...

We stayed 3 nights as part of our Honeymoon in Nelson. The building was charming in a cool Victorian style, felt very authentic. The bedding, and amenities were appointed well for a comfortable stay. The staff was very accommodating with our dietary and scheduling needs for breakfast. I'd recommend this property to anyone seeking a truly unique B&B experience.

As a result of having to be rerouted from Kaikoura we were booked into the Warwick House Hotel in Nelson. It is by no means a "boutique" hotel, rather a very basic B&B. It is dated, ill equipped and ill serviced. It looks good in photos and is clean but that is very misleading. However, given at the time the...

Dear Guest, Your travel plans along with many hundred others were affected by the sudden closure of Highway 1 to Kaikoura. This put tremendous pressure on all accommodation in Nelson and we have been trying to accommodate all disrupted guests and advise onward travelling guests. 4 straight days of rain our region had left everything very very wet. We operate...

We were two couples booked the Queen Suit for 4 people, there should be a bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed and we also requested one more bed. We paid the full payment through Agoda. However, the hotel staff inform us by email that we only paid 3 persons. When we arrived, we found it was a...

The room you booked was a queen room for max 3 adults. This is also what you paid for. Our rooms are not designed for 2 adult couples to share and there is nothing our on our website or the online site where you booked to suggest that this is the case. The room you booked is 40 square meters...

The accommodation is clean and comfortable but not special enough. We were told the room we booked was not available due to plumbing issues ( no advanced email warning or communication on this issue either) but the body language in my opinion suggested this was not true. Also although we were paying guests by the time we returned late evening...

The room has two heaters one portable and central...

Lovely historic house. We're greeted by girls who showed us to our rooms. Rooms were a bit musky. Warm & comfortable bed. Hosts seem to be in a hurry to be paid & be on their way. Basic essentials were all made available .

Nick & Jenny make you so welcome and create a personal touch that the corporate and ubiquitous motels and hotels can never replicate. The house is one of the oldest in NZ and a finer example of a Victorian home you would struggle to find anywhere in the world. Breakfast was truly wonderful (do try the scrambled eggs) and it's...

Decided to stay in Warwick for 2 nights spontaneously and fell in love with the place, so romantic and so beautifully renovated. Just a 10 min walk to town, and in a very quiet location with a really nice new. Our Victoria suite was spacious and had everything we needed. The host and staff was lovely and helpful and the...

Set in an elevated site overlooking Nelson. Described by owner Nick as the oldest homestead in the South Island. Lovingly restored by the owners to its original glory. Really quaint and historically important with a rich history. Well worth a stay to learn about Nelson's past.

At short notice I arranged with Nick a surprise night for my wife in the Bay View suite. The setting and help received was perfect. The house is truly unique, rich in history and tastefully restored to its former glory.
