Staying one night Captains Quarters, two kids 6 and 8 and two adults, all loved it. amazing views, lovely nautical theme. Key in door so no check in worries. If I had to find fault, no dishwasher! Loved the washer drier too. Really enjoyed our stay

We stayed at the Main Deck while at "The Wheelhouse". The owner, Ralph popped through on the first morning and made sure we were welcome. This one bed apartment as has awesome deck to have an afternoon wine on and enjoy the garden from. Then there's the view....... and a jaw dropping view would be a more deserving description. The...

This was the fourth time we have stayed at The Wheelhouse Inn when visiting Nelson and again, I can't speak highly enough of it. The views are spectacular in good and bad weather, even watching the sea fog this morning rolling in and out and around Haulashore Island (pictured) was interesting (we were above it). We stayed again in the...

Beautiful view of the bay, the little island on the water, and the snow-capped mountains in the background. The light is ever changing. The love of sailing inspired the house interior. On top of a hill and 5 min drive from the town centre, probably best for people who have a car. Rooms are comfortable. Everything you need is provided....

Very tidy and clean. Had all the comforts of home home with the pleasure of being on holiday. With fantastic views even on a overcast day. The showering facilities were heavenly. To top it all off the price was very good

During our road trip of the South island we stayed in the Crows Nest for one night and wished could have stayed longer. The views looking across over Nelson and the bay were amazing. The house is amazing. The facilities were great and had everything we needed. I would def recommend for any one looking to stay in Nelson to...

Thanks for your wonderful comments. One comment we hear on a regular basis is "we wish we could stay longer" .... when your trying to decide if to spend one day in Nelson or two ... pick two or more. There's lots to do and even if you don't feel like doing anything you can sit and relax and check...

The Wheelhouse Inn is set into the upper slopes of a hill looking out over Tasman Bay. The views are wonderful. The accommodation is really a series of separate flats, all furnished to a good level. You are out of the town centre so would need a car. The Hetzel's who run the B&B are very friendly and helpful. Really...
