Myself, husband and 3 children stayed overnight in a cabin on a return trip travelling through and were pleasantly surprised. On our way up we stayed in a Big 4 cabin and were very disappointed. This waterfront cabin was very clean, everything worked perfectly and it was quite spacious. The cabin was opposite a railway, across the bay but this...

This is a great, safe park just out of the main part of Port Augusta. It is well fenced and the gates are locked at night. There is plenty of room and a good number of drive through sites. A special treat is the views of the estuary and lower Flinders Ranges; especially at sunset). There are plenty of amenities which...

The staff were absolutely lovely and ver friendly. The park is ok but old and tired. We were only staying one night so it did the purpose although it kind of felt like a prison in that there was barb wire on our shore line view and you can't get down to the water.

Great stopover place. Has everything you need and near town. It was quiet here and the water views were nice. Trains across the waterway were sometimes noisy but nothing too bad. Staff were all pleasant.

I opted to stay in the back packer accommodation and was slightly worried about what I was to find, however my fears were completely unfounded. Upon my arrival I was pleasantly surprised to find the accommodation consisted of a small double, chair and air conditioning in your own cabin. I found the staff friendly and approachable, the kitchen was clean...

We stayed for one night on a powered site and it was a nice quiet park. Our site was shady and as requested close to the amenities. The lovely big camp was clean and very spacious. The amenities block was also clean and we liked the kids bathroom. The shower cubicle was clean and spacious and had plenty of hot...

My stay at the park was dependent on taking the trip on the Pichi Richi railway. Therefore my booking enquiry was for 1 possibly 2 days. Desk staff had no information on this highly recommended tourist attraction and suggested I should find out the information myself via internet. It was established quickly that the tourist season had been closed for...

Normally, my partner and I have a great time here, this time we ended up sleepless, due to a staff member, deciding to party well into the early hours of the morning. in a waterfront cabin next to us. She was LOUD and got LOUDER as the night went on. At 12:10am I woke up to tell her " SHUT...

I stayed overnight with no booking on dirt with slab. It was clean and on the shoreline of river. I enjoyed watching train shuttle across the water and good sunset. For an overnight stay on my way to Perth it was good. The park had a clean Kitchen but it was not opened until 7 am which for travellers is...
