Mandy and Andrew are very hospitable hosts in their beautiful home about 20 minutes from downtown Rotorua. With only two rooms the lodge is a very intimate experience with expansive views of the countryside. A very comfortable room with a seating area and separate kitchenette complete with a complimentary bottle of wine! We stayed two nights and enjoyed the peace...

Our trip to NZ was very last minute and we were very fortunate to have secured the most wonderful accommodation with warm friendly hosts with great culinary skills. Andrew and Mandy were very warm and welcoming and made us feel at home. You can be social or private while staying here. We chose to have a dinner option which was...

This place exceeds expectations! A lovely warm welcome and a fellow tennis enthusiast in Mandy. Plus helpful tips from Andy on how to poach tidy looking eggs. Loved the dogs too as we were missing our own. The accommodation and breakfast are just perfect, nothing has been overlooked. Sitting on the deck gazing at the stars was magical. We really...

Our hosts, Mandy and Andrew greeted us with coffee and freshly baked goods. The B&B only has two spacious and well appointed rooms, on opposite corners of the building with big windows that capture the...

We wanted to enjoy the many activities around Rotorua's but the thermal hot spring orders were a determining factor in our choice of accommodations. We felt a place away from the main hot springs and downtown might be a wise choice and we were right. Astelia Lodge is the perfect location; a quiet retreat in the pastureland just minutes south...

Spent the weekend with good friends making all sorts of Christmas crafts. Astelia Lodge is the perfect place to go for a relaxing get away. Enjoyed the views of the Horohoro Bluffs with a glass of vino on the deck and magical views of the stars by night. Thanks Mandy and Andrew for being the perfect hosts.
