Book a room last minute since we decided to shorten our trip at Franz Josef and went earlier to Greymouth for our tomorrow's Alpine train schedule. Booked thru their hassle free website without any difficulties at all and then show up a few hours later only to find that this motel is located near beautiful Dixon Park, KFC, Mc D...

We had a one night stay here while in Greymouth and we were impressed.. The room was pleasantly furnished and very comfortable. The unit was spotless. It came with complete kitchen facilities, with top quality appliances, and the usual tea, coffee, hot chocolate and coffee plunger. There was a spa bath with the shower over it and heating lights in...

Our family name is Gable so we found that we just had to stay here while on our visit, the staff in reception were amazing. We arrived much later than we had planned due to road closures, the staff were very accommodating

Centrally located and we couldn't hear any road noise (from the rear unit we were in) which was appreciated. The host was incredibly friendly...

Booking and check in was stressfree and when we arrived at the Gables we were impressed by the cleanliness of the grounds. This attention to detail followed through into the units themselves - they we spacious, cosy...

The owner is awesome and very welcoming! He recommended us things to do in Greymouth and also provides some tips for our road trip to Franz Josef. Rooms is very clean and smells good. Another plus point is that we can park our rental car right outside our room. Definitely five stars room with five stars service.
