We reserved a 4 bed dorm room that was very nice. Spacious and big bathroom. We think the mattress should be change some time soon because two people sleeping make the mattress to fold in the middle. Also the common bathrooms are wall to wall to the room so if the hostel is busy might be a bit noisy. But...

I really enjoyed my stay here as the owners made me feel so welcome, Greg gave me some veg fresh from his garden which I had for dinner. Milly the dog is super cute and the the whole house has a warm family feel to it plus very clean and tidy. In fact everybody I met in this little village...

The owner Greg is very nice, he shared with us the big king fish that he caught, which tasted great. The hostel is clean and comfortable too. As with many hostels in New Zealand, the WIFI is not free, if it could be cheaper then it will be perfect.

On realising that the i-site had recently moved I decided to call the hostel before heading over there to check they were open and had a room for me. He was in town anyway and offered to pick me up and take me back to the hostel which was really nice of him. The hostel itself is worn and dated,...

The hostel itself was nice enough. clean and comfortable etc, but our stay was really uncomfortable because the owner Greg was so horrible and made us feel totally unwelcome. He treated my partner and I like we were criminals. He told us we had to stay in our room and not cause any trouble or he would call the police....

I have been traveling around the world for the past year and I have never met a ruder person than Greg the owner/manager of this hostel. I stayed one night, went for a hike in the morning and when I returned to the hostel to pick up my friend Greg would not let me shower or even use the toilet,...

“We stayed in the blue house in the double enough suite which was. Nice to ok m but you got. Shock when people used the bathroom which was next to our room. We weren't sure if it was the shower or the flush on the toilet but very very noisy”
