Not very well taken care of. My bed's linen had not been changed and the place looked not well taken care of. I guess Given it was a weekend we had to stay for one night, so I guess it's OK for emergencies.

We stayed one night in Unit # 1. I wish we were back there now. It has a kitchenette with a dining area, a separate bedroom with a comfortable bed, and a small front porch with a table and two chairs. Private, quiet, and just what we like. The grounds have lots of flowering plants, including some nice succulent species....

My sister booked a waterfront unit for a long overdue holiday with her husband. We called in and decided to stay over night. What a mistake. The carpets were stained the cutlery was plastic and mismatched and chipped. The cloth in the drawer the cups rested on was filthy and stained the rims.... the beds were uncomfortable and the fridge...

Diane was extremely accommodating when we had to change original plans. We loved sitting on the deck of our little cottage, sipping our wine and looking out over the water of the Firth of Thames. Accommodation is not flash, but certainly quite adequate. We loved this position virtually on the waters edge and would be back in a heart beat!...

Last minute decision to head out of Auckland, Diane was very accommodating with our needs and was amazing with the kids. The rooms are a little run down BUT they are clean with fresh linen and towels. The couches were super comfy with a big TV and SKY TV for the day it rained. The kitchen is fully equipped and...

This is not a motel i would recommend if you like clean surroundings. Kitchen floor had coffee spilt on it, the windows that looked out to sea were filthy, the oven (we didn't use) was dirty, the microwave was dirty, the light switches were dirty, the window latches in the kitchen and bedroom were broken, the old dressing table had...

Unfortunately I had a bad experience at this nice location. it was freezing cold, the heater didn't work neither did the electric blankets. You need heating in June temperatures. the place was not cleaned very well. There was a rat in the kitchen roof making a lot of noise basically trying to make it's way in, it went on for...

Our two bedroom cottage had all the facilities and equipment you could need. The views across the Firth Of Thames and up the Coromondel range are stunning. The motel is at the end of the village Turaru about a mile beyond Thames. It's a great place for birdwatching especially waders and can even stay in bed and still get a...

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in 1 of their 3 bedroom chalets on the beach. The accommodation itself is not new or very modern but we found it very homely and extremely comfortable. the beach is a pebble beach so not much good for swimming but the view from the chalet is awesome. The welcome we got...
