A trip down south with the rellies is not complete without a visit to Margs. The Edge of the Forest was very pleasant, quaint and compact and just what we needed for our 1 night stay. The setting is lovely being so close the the bush/forest and we were lucky to have the rear accommodation, however I would not have...

Good location, spacious room with a lot of useful equipment such as microwave oven, utensils, DVD player, ceiling fan, aircon, etc. Big toilet with heater. Also has a cozy corner for coffee and dining. The property is linked directly to the forest walk and Rotary Park nearby. Also within walking distance to nice breweries including Brewhouse.

This is called a "motel" but that doesn't do justice to its value. The rooms are cosy but provide everything you need for a fine relaxing stay. Denise and Alan (hosts) are helpful with local tips, and dedicated to making your stay relaxing. Breakfast makings are provided daily and reflect your choices, but the best part was the little private...

Motel is well presented and looked after. However, if booking do not book the family room at the front. This is very close to the road and very noisy in early morning and in the evening when trucks are rumbling past. Other rooms at the back looked much quieter but unfortunately we weren't there.

Thank you for your review. Fortunately there is a by-pass road being built to take heavy traffic off the Highway which will be fantastic for the accommodation providers on the Highway. This however has increased the trucks whilst building the road :(

Stayed for 2 nights. Easy to find location, turn in by the main road. Friendly and efficient reception. Got a room facing car park and drive way. Room is warmly decorated with attached bathroom. Room have air con, microwave, fridge, cutlery, tv and hairdryer. Everything is in good, working condition and clean. Good water pressure for shower. A little noisy...

We stayed for 2 nights and found the hosts charming and the accomodation comfortable, whilst breakfasting on our verandah we were fortunate to spot a blue wren and his mate flitting around the garden. As long as you are not in your best footwear the walk to town is easy and at night, reasonably lit. If beer is your thing...

Thank you for your lovely review. The weather has been lovely for breakfast on the patios. We also love seeing the Blue Wrens bobbing around in the garden.

Great little place to stay in Margaret river. Has all the amenities you need and even a lovely grade area where you can have a bbq and relax in the garden. Alan and Denise are great host, providing a breakfast basket and washing up all your dishes from the day before. We stayed three nights but could well have stayed...

Thank you so much Emma for your lovely review. The weather has been fantastic for a barbeque and many guests have taken the opportunity to dine in the garden. Most guests find the complimentary continental breakfast basket included with direct bookings is a great start to the day.

We stayed at the Edge of the Forest for three nights at the end of January and throughly enjoyed the experience. Alan and Denise (the owners) were very friendly and we put their knowledge and advice of the local area, to good use. The location was perfect, the Brewhouse was vertually next door and the centre of town was just...

Edge of the Forest is exactly that, situated on the edge of town and the forest. Really friendly owners who are a wealth of information on local attractions and things to do in and around Margaret River. This being our first trip to this area, the knowledge provided set us on a really good path for the brief 3 days...

Lovely gardens for breakfast or BBQ, on the edge of the forest and only 60s to the Brewhouse or 5 mins to MR. Nice rooms with excellent bathrooms. Good breakfast included. Owners are very helpful. Always wanted to stay here but it's been booked out every other time. Glad we made it this time.
