The start was not ideal. Our booking showed an address of 100 Wallcliffe which our satnav couldn't find. We were also looking for a hotel closer to Margaret River than this actually is. Eventually we spot a discreet sign for Basildene Manor (Grand Mercury doesn't appear anywhere). The Hotel is set back from the road in beautiful grounds. It exudes...

This hotel is lovely. Unfortunately the management have no respect for their guests privacy. We originally booked a couple of nights here to relax after walking on the cape to cape walkway. When we checked in it was mentioned that we might be asked to move rooms during our stay, but it was agreed they would talk to us in...

This beautiful 1912 manor had been restored and the rooms updated and spacious. The gardens are beautifully manicured and the staff are wonderful. Breakfast is given, but not dinner, so have to travel to town for dinner. Afternoon tea with fresh scones! This is the only critique as if you have a few drinks you have to cab it to...

Staff were wonderful and we were fortunate to be upgraded to a spacious room which was very comfortable and luxurious. We were very impressed with the food at breakfast and also the afternoon tea that was available...

This is a classic hotel set in the country not far from Margaret River, I say classic providing you stay in the old house and not the new annex. The welcome is good with a short potted history of the house pointing out the photos on the walls. The rooms are nice and comfy with the only downside for me,...

Beautiful place to stay, Rooms well appointed and very modern and tasteful, Breakfast in the Conservatory I didn't want to touch the fruit platters because they looked fantastic. Gardens to roam around in and a duck pond with BBQ facilities, tennis court and swimming pool. Really needed a few more days but Very romantic. They staff extremely helpful with suggestions...
