My husband and I stayed in the Leeuwin cottage right before Easter. The cottage was spacious and comfortable. We like good lighting so my only suggestion for that cottage would be side tables with lamps in the living area as the overhead lights are not cozy. The location of the Chalets is excellent since they are walking distance from Margaret...

Me and my wife were visiting Maegaret River with our family and frieds in March 2017. Meaning was to see beaces, caves and wineyards. Margaret River is in the middle of everything and that`s why it is a perfect place to overnight. Rooms are big and confortable. The style is very Australian. What we were missing were dishwasher witch we...

The chalet was clean & modern. The beds & pillows were comfortable and exquisite, not something I would expect for a chalet style accommodation. The kitchen was well equipped too. There was salt and pepper, tea & coffee & milk in the fridge. The chalet is set in a quiet & serene forest even though it's quite near to the...

Great central Margaret River location within walking distance to the bars and restaurants but has the feel of being hidden away from it all in your own little forest. Love this place and have stayed here many times.

If your looking for a wonderful retreat in the Margaret River area this is the one. These self contained wooden cottages afford space, quiet and almost solitude to recharge and reconnect to ourselves and nature. The barbecue on the deck is a wonderful place to sit back and relax with a carefully chosen local wine and choice local produce cooking...

We stayed for four nights. Our chalet was obviously designed for wheelchair use. Although it was self contained I wouldn't describe it as a "chalet" but rather a self contained room. The open floor plan meant there were only 2 rooms - the bedroom/kitchen and the bathroom. Having said that - the rooms were a good size and the kitchen...

Whilst initially disappointed we did not receive our chosen chalet ( roof repairs) we enjoyed accommodation in the chalet named Blackwood. This was beautifully appointed with good quality fixtures and fittings. Really comfortable beds and good dining area. Staff were great and genuinely keen to ensure we had a good and relaxing time.

Lovely location - walking distance to the shops etc. Really nice chalets - balcony with BBQ although the weather unfortunately was not good enough for us to use it. Excellent facilities - high quality and really comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for two weeks. The staff was cheerful, and responded quickly to our requests. The accommodation is roomy and very well located with less than 5 minutes to both the town of Margaret River and forest walks. It is a bit pricey, especially for longer stays, and for this reason, also a bit impersonal. The setting underneath the trees...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Riverglen Chalets has 14 self-contained chalets, set on 7 acres of forest bushland & manicured gardens and a 10 minute stroll into the heart of the Margaret River town. Chalets offer accommodation for couples, families and groups. Enjoy the relaxing setting without giving up the modern way of life. Relax on your balcony, keeping an eye on the children looking for tadpoles in the winter brook pond. Enjoy the warmth of a wood fire which some chalets have to offer or the seasonal ambience of the Spring gardens. Others may choose a relaxing moment in a spa chalet or Jacuzzi on the "House" deck, waiting for your pizza cooking in the wood fire pizza oven. Tap into what the new whisky distillery or the microbrewery has to offer, which are both in close proximity. Riverglen is the ideal place to set your base, being central to the Margaret River Wine Region. ... more   less

“Don't take too much 'stuff' as the cupboards are small. But more than adequate for a short trip. Don't expect great TV. Be prepared to talk to each other. Beds are great. Be prepared to do your own washing up. And leave it as beautiful as you found it. Wifi a bit dodgy but the town, only a short walk away has good and some free reception.”
