Very nice, simple and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful island of Maldives. Our apartment was clean and cozy, the staff was very friendly. You can find there lot of green and a small lake with fish. Near the apartment you can find many bars and restaurants, beaches and water spots.

Just checked in today and pretty disappointed so far. The TV doesn’t work, the safe is locked shut, the only options for the fan is super high or off. No soap at the sink, we’re told to just use the shampoo in the shower. The window has open gaps so the AC is just being over worked and the room doesn’t really cool. We are booked for four nights 😞 so can’t imagine how hot it’s going to get during the day.
Only positive so far are the friendly guys working at the front and the room seems clean. There was some confusion with payment but I will take the blame for that since we were told that the ATM at the airport doesn’t give dollars and only local currency. We got that sorted and payment was made in full.
Hoping we can get things sorted with the room tomorrow…..will definitely update review if things get better

Let's take a general tour to describe the room and the island, at least you can save yourselves and go elsewhere...
Let's make a list of points:
- Don't trust Guest Houses (poor cleanliness, non-existent services and very rare ones are acceptable).
With a few euros difference you can go to a hotel where the quality is clearly superior.
The one they had offered to us (for an exchange of services) was TERRIBLE and I won't say anything else otherwise the word terrible could cause offense.
In fact we stopped working with this guesthouse and went to a nearby hotel. (Hotel View super recommended)
- 80% of the island is under construction (alleys full of construction waste, constant noise of bulldozers and construction equipment in the background) so don't imagine the usual Maldivian paradise but a construction site with a Carolina background.
-The island has only 2 small beaches where you can swim in a bathing suit, you cannot swim on the remaining part of the island and honestly on a holiday island you don't expect this (you will find many signs pointing out this absurd fact).
-Last but not least, ABSOLUTELY AVOID being fooled by travel-experience organizers (I won't name names but one resembles a road) where they make you go on excursions at crazy prices, terrible organizations and with support bases worthy of the Guantánamo prison camp, but find an organizer on the island to be able to take advantage of its many services at unimaginable prices and live one or more experiences to remember for a lifetime.
Ps I'll close with one last piece of advice! Change island! Don't waste your lifelong dream by coming here!

While on vacation in Maafushi I changed a few hotels, but when I arrived in Nala I fell in love with this nice, cozy, clean and very coolly located hotel. Shozol at the reception is a cool, fun guy, he solved all my problems very quickly, I really hope to visit this place again. You're the best 👏

u can take daily regular ferry from male. or u can go by speed boat. ferry will cost like US$3 and speed boat cost US$10.
Hi sorry for late reply.
Yes there is no boat on friday. So You can take speedboat. Ask the times in Male boat station for speedboat. They ll charge you $20 but it worth because it takes shorter like 30mins. Have a nice vacation :)
Sorry for late reply. I recommended the hotel is really nice, comfortable and of course closed to the beach. Maafushi is not big island. You walk to everywhere is closed. Breakfasts are good too. They change the menu everyday.
