Detailed Reviews
Originally we had a reservation in the Kaani Beach Hotel with 'cityview' but because of a reconstruction in the neighborhood they offer (immediately without requiring) a bigger room in the Village Hotel and extra dinner (the distance is nothing). Kadir was so correct, friendly and organized everything. Our room was clear, services okay, the food - not so colorful but - fresh and tasty. The programs offered by the hotel are okay but you need lucky also to see the sea life.
Kaani is big company in the Island with hotels and services and I can only suggest them especially Kadir the receptionist in the Beach Hotel!

It was my husband’s birthday on 2nd of December and the whole F&B staff of Kaani Palm beach during breakfast helped me surprise my husband with a cake and celebrations and my husband was very happy because of such a sweet gesture. We would also like to appreciate Ms. Kadek from F&B in Kaani Palm beach, she’s extremely courteous and sweet and never stops smiling, she always has a pleasant smile throughout and takes care of her customers so well. Very down to earth lady, we wish her all the best for future endeavours. Keep up with your work Kadek! You are amazing!

We stayed here for 3 nights in this hotel, it is very near to maafushi beach. Food was really good. They also arranged different water sports activities for us, which was really excellent. Hotel staff was very co-operative and we enjoyed our trip.

I stayed there for 3 nights and It was alright. Its near the iCom tours and the walkable from the speed boat drop zone. The rooms, furniture and interior are very old. The size of the room is normal. However amenities in the bathroom are limited. The pool is decent to chill in. They have a spa in house. The breakfast has minimal options and the seating is very compact. The food is okay. Everyday only one 1 item changes in the menu. The service and staff are polite, calm and willing to listen. The beach around the vicinity is normal shore and at the distance is the bikini beach. The KAANI group has 2 other hotels in the vicinity and this one is not their best.
The also arrange tours, gathering people from all KAANI hotels, however the equipment condition was bad and the food provided was below par.
Its definitely not a 3 star, but has potential do be one if they renovate the rooms and improve the meal buffet options. I would recommend this place if your focus is just to have room in Maafushi island while for food and tours you look for other options. It is a budget option.

We stayed at Kaani Village & Spa for 4 nights. We had a family room with no view and no outdoor space.
The room was quite spacious and clean. There are towels for the beach. Change them every day. Bottles of water are placed every day.
Still, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
Construction is going on everywhere so you are constantly surrounded by noise. This starts at half past eight in the morning with, among other things, a jackhammer.
Complained to reception because my son had a very bad headache. Nothing was done about it. They even said they had complained before.
For food you have to go to another Kaani hotel. 5 minutes walk. The breakfast is not extensive enough. Lots of sausages, rice and stuff like that. The only thing I had was an omelet.
We had half board and dinner was slightly better. They put a bottle of water on your table as standard. Very nice!
The employees are nice, but if you don't take tours from them (much cheaper elsewhere) then you are not interesting.
I would like to compliment the Indonesian lady in the restaurant. Super sweet, service-oriented!
I thought Maafushi was a messy island. The locals ignore you and are not interested in tourists. Take another island!

Hotel is nice, right by gorgeous beach. Rooms were nice, good to have free snorkel equipment. Buffet was ok, not great. But they only will give you 1 key per room, which was an issue, as I shared the room with 2 other men in our group, and we came and went at different times. They said they have a shortage of keys!

Old building, smell bad … worst part was i had cockroach and flies in the room.
The hotel looks really nice but in reality its very old with low maintenance.
The room is really old with old wood smell. AC was cranking all night.
In the toilet and shower i have a cockroach family and flies :(
I had a swimsuit but i dare not to jump into the pool. Definitely doesn’t look clean.
Breakfast wasn’t served here, its served at other Kaani hotel.
Would prefered to stay in other Kaani hotel if the room wasnt fully booked out
